I'm sure the Maverick would be just fine out there if setup right. I just think with so much money on the line, peopl tend to bring their prize stallions to the race so to speak - the Impact. Steve

It’s really the larger mags of the Impact that sway things for bench rest. It’s nice to not have to reload so much, especially if you have a good window with the wind and you’re going for a run on targets while conditions are right (essentially what Fredrik did to get his world record score in heat two)

Hi Stuart, great question. I and my guests on this channel speak of this often and you'll find those lengthy discussions buried in my several "tuning guide" videos, in last year's RMAC video interviews, and in most of my usual airgun reviews. In short, moderators can improve accuracy in 2 ways. They can idealize the harmonic frequency or "node" of the shot cycle, and they can reduce air turbulence behind the pellet/slug. There are so many random cuts, I have no idea what's going on here.... Sorry, seems like good footage, but I'm a bit lost of what is going on. I have no idea what this event is about, and after the video I'm no wiser. Again, sorry bud - I like your channel, bus this was just plain chaos and confusing, for me as uninitiated viewer. Like - wtf is that snipped with the girls pushing a cart with plates for? And that's just one example. And then back to shooting - I don't know... Add a it of context or continuation to those videos... There seems no corelation to most scenes. To me this is just - bad to watch and confusing.

Hi and thanks for the note. It was indeed challenging trying to condense 40 hours of "event" into approximately 30 minutes for KZbin and my production style wont be for everyone, so I feel ya. If ya haven't yet, have a read of the video's description. I put a lot of context detail in there for anyone new so they'd get the gist of things as a whole going in. My style of bouncing around is of the same intent - to simply give the viewer an idea of the event's culture & energy, and what it's like to be there. The plates on the cart being pushed by the ladies was of the post-event banquet & awards ceremony... same exact plates & cart I showed in the banquet hall full of people in several adjacent scenes 😊.
