You can see at the end of the video when the kid was making the trade and asking for $50 more with the Jefferson, how his father was basically saying it’s a good card and more money isn’t needed. That was his way of telling the kid that it’s not the other kids responsibility to give you more money, based on what you sell the Jefferson for. That is not how trade deals work amongst two people unless a dealer is involved.

Never have been to the national, but as much as people complain about the older dealers like John, they are genuinely interested in talking about the cards and the backstory behind them, the grades, the autos. It's better then the aggressive and annoying dealings with some of the more modern dealers.

Peewee is definitely more scarce, but he also has significantly fewer collectors, so 100 plus on Koufax should still be more valuable than 14 Reeses.

Great get, I’m not an autograph guy, however, this auto just fits the card….beautiful card and a beautiful auto to match. Hard time verbalizing what I meant but bottom line, the autograph enhances the card. At times there are autographs that take away from the card but not this one, outstanding!

Love these videos, I had one remark though, you often show the cards your dealing for on your displays mid-trade, before the deal is done, which spoils the fact that you got the deal done! If you’re looking to resell and want to make the most money go with psa. If your looking for personal collection and don’t care about the value of your cards go with sgc or bgs.

Koufax isn't a common signer, that card was only slightly higher than his signing fee. Yaz is a good signer (I've got a Venny and high grade base, my PSA 7 sold for a measly $1500; I rarely guess double the sale price.) Only 1-2/yr, but at a fair price and one of the most iconic RC's behind Nolan Ryan, 85 McGwire and 89 Griffey UD.
