I think the guy turning down 2 million for those two 101 PSA 9s might have been a bit greedy. I understand those cards are going up, but we all know cards can NOT continue to go up forever. Eventually there will be an adjustment and I think it will either come down a bit or stay around the same price.

I actually agree 2 million is too low if you can project into the future. A card like that will eventually be more sought after than ANY of his 90s serial numbered cards. I love his 90s stuff but it's very niche while the Star 101 is Jordans 1st licensed NBA card. No other card can boast that. And in high grade like PSA 9 1 million will be a steal in another 5 years while his 90s serial numbered cards will be forgotten about

disagree with you guys that it should be on the level of a 51 Bowman Mantle.. Bowman is a real company.the Star company is out of business.. this card will not go up much higher unless a gem mint 10 or 9.5 surfaces..that and only that copy will command the highest possible price..this guy should've sold at least one copy for a million.

I had 9.5 graded Michael Jordan rookie card value at $25,000 athe the time I sold it for $4000, needed money . Now it’s worth $75,000 a graded 9.9 recently sold for $150,000 at an auction. Kicking myself now .

He's says he's a collector also but he is a used car salesman who probably didn't know what a sportscard was when he was young. All of a sudden when he is wealthy he jumps in and acts like he's "joe card guy". That would fine if he stopped there. But continuously shaking people down is gross and disgusting. Even though it's a 2nd year National card, it's still a RC. A non-numbered PSA 9 went for 3K, so Mr. Dolphin should have held out for more. He'll be lucky to sell those three cards for $1,000. A "rookie" Wemby /10 is worth at least twice the 4K he accepted.

This was a disaster. Unorganized and 180% above comps. I showed a dealer comps that was 325 less than his price and he acted like I didn't have a gun in the car. Sports memorabilia/ card ppl are truly the scourge of society..

I bought a #1/10 Clark/Reese auto gem mint 10 on ebay for $2700 a few months back... thats a crazy purchase for me. hope it pays off. I had like 100,000 cards i bought in the 90s in hobby boxes... couldn't get rid of them. had to sell the whole collection on ebay for $1700..
