Those dont have the glorious N52. Your car had a weird 4 cylinder engine in it. Those weren't very reliable.

3k miles is a little too soon. You're wasting money changing it that often. 5-7k miles is when oil should be changed. The oil is still fresh at 3k miles I run LiquiMoly 5w40 on my 2010 E93 328. Every 5-6k miles is when i change mine. Car is at 122k miles and doesnt skip a beat.

Coils usually need replacing around that mileage anyway and plugs.
