Did my 100,000 step challenge last Monday mate, people underestimate how difficult it is! Left shin is still in bits! Glad to be part of the club though 👍

Congratulations Tom! It really is so difficult, physically and mentally. Make sure you rest up, I had bad shin and ankle pain for a couple of weeks but I was still out walking daily 🙃

Congratulations! I’m also a fellow weirdo but I did mine last week and not in lockdown lol. Love watching these videos and wow you got up super early for yours! I waited to do mine in the summer for the daylight as I was scared of walking at night! P.s congrats on 10000 before 5am and also for smashing the challenge! 🔥🔥🔥

Congratulations on your 100k steps. I still look back now and think how crazy/difficult it was and I literally did it just to prove I could 😂 how long did yours take?
@JadesFitnessBucketList2 жыл бұрын
@@stevengetsfit thank you! mine took just under 16 hours, think it was 15 hours 45 mins-ish. I took a look at other people's and mine seemed unusally fast but then i figured im 5'2 so my stride would be a slightly smaller and therefore in 100k steps that would eventually build up and mean that i could reach 100k faster because i have smaller strides ha. funny you say that about proving you could do this challenge...i made my YT channel just to film fitness challenges ive set myself. some are random but its still cool to smash them!
@stevengetsfit2 жыл бұрын
@@JadesFitnessBucketList that’s a good point, I’m 6ft 3 so maybe that’s why it took me longer. Yours is a very quick time. Just subscribed to your channel, looking forward to watching your challenges. I love testing myself with fitness challenges. Should really start filming them again!
@JadesFitnessBucketList2 жыл бұрын
Hey ah thanks and yes you should definitely film more! I find them quite fun to edit and the challenges itself really enjoyable. And yeh with this challenge I guess it would have been interesting to see the km as well. I didn’t put that data up as sometimes I would March on the spot to eat food etc instead of sit down so I think added up to less than expected. I’ve subscribed too! Great vids!

Going for a run without a drink...Rookie mistake, Steven! I admire the dedication and determination getting up at 4 in the morning to reach your target though. Well done!

It was such a dumb move but I was also worried drinking too much would mean I’d need the toilet on route 😂. Thank you, I knew I needed to get up early to get it done!

I tried do to a 80km open road walk in one day but failed due to bad clothing and increasing number of pains and injuries. Decided to stop before i damage my self at 50km with 66k steps. I am happy you made it and looked ok after it. At the end of the month i will try again, but mostly on a treadmill to train my legs for a second try next year :)

😱 You have the most amazing will power! Only a very small handful of people in the world can say they have walked over 50miles in a day - Unbelievable 👏 How did you sleep after that? I would've slept like a log 😄

My average resting heart beat is 42bpm over the last month and 165bpm average for a 28 min run yesterday. At the time I was 25, so max heart rate would of been around 195? Thanks for the thumbs up, it was a tough challenge
