I did 100,730 steps on Sunday. (Turned 60 this year.) Started at midnight. It was the hardest thing I have ever done physically, but probably the most rewarding. Full moon, no wind. Perfect conditions. The mental and physical strain of the last 10k steps was tremendous. Like you, I told myself, "Just keep putting one foot in front of the other and you'll make it." Legs were extremely sore the next day. And worth it all :).

@@LivingtheLaptopLifestyle no argument here! I always tell people that calorie out vs calorie in is always a good place to start when thinking about general fitness

Imagine he did all this and the Fitbit was dead
@machajohn5 жыл бұрын
Joel Stroschein funny enough (if I remember correctly), that was a legitimate worry of mine. At that point, my battery was lasting a little more than a day. When I had stopped for lunch, I put it on the charger for a bit and constantly monitored the battery afterwards. I also allowed the app to update often to make sure it synced the steps. This way if it did die, I could charge it back up and will have only not account for some nonzero (but not large) amount of steps
