Rediscovered this song a few years ago from all those years back. It still kicks butt. One of their best in my opinion. Thanks for doing a video on it.

Amazing lesson. Been trying to play this one for a long time. Now I can understand the rhythm part. One of the best channels for KISS’ lessons. Thanks! Can you do a tutorial of Creatures of the Night? PLEASE 🙏🏻

I can see Gene and Paul coming up with the bass line and rythm tracks but when you think about the lyrical content and how much Ace dominates the guitar writing and solo in this.....well hands down the song is 80% Ace Frehley and just Gene taking credit for something he thought he did (EGO). This is a bad ass song ! nice video

Another great lesson my friend. Thank you. You have a very engaging/funny style and the way you package your videos sets you apart from your contemporaries. 🤘 I remember reading that article and being pissed at Kulick for using the phrase "limited vocabulary" about Ace. While it may be true, it was a slap in the face disguised as a compliment and kinda bitchy in my view. Are you going to break down the solo also? I doubt I'd ever be able to play it all, but there's a few things in there that I'd love to have a crack at. I never knew this song was based on time travel, so that was a bonus. Thanks again

Thank You! I really appreciate you're taking time to comment!! I agree, it is a bit unnecessary to srate something like that, but from my experience also a little bit typical from very technical players... We are all different and in my book Bach and Ramones give me equal enjoyment no matter diffrence of the music. Also I would claim that Ace has done more leads that are classic than Bruce ever has or will do :) The lead/Ace version should be out before New Years eve!

@@haveguitar You're spot on about the solos. Ace has so many memorable ones and his solos ALWAYS gave the song some contrast. As for Kulick, the only 2 that stick in my mind are Tears are Falling and Forever. Great news! I look forward to the solo lesson. Happy Holidays to you and your family from me and mine. 🤘🎅
