I just wonder how many of these are still safe to visit. NYC, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, some of these places are in the news as being overrun with criminals and being victimized as a tourist is going up, up, up... Maybe they are all safe if you visit during the day, get in, get out before it gets dark and stay ONLY at the tourist traps???

Actually it does. If you research tallest mountain in the world from base to summit, it is Mauna Kea. You can search it yourself. I never said its the highest elevation, just the tallest mountain.
