One of the best as well, pretty much when the show cranks it into High Gear. It's kinda the One Piece Equivalent to DBZ's Frieza Saga, you really get a feel for how the show is going forward and is the point when you realize shits about to go down. You have a fight were Luffy is actually on the back foot and it's unclear if he can actually win, which is in Stark Contrast to all his other fights where he pretty much curb-stomped everyone. It seats him up as an Underdog and shows that no matter how strong he is, he's a Tinny Fish in a Big Pond, something that pretty much continues through the rest of the series. It really puts in to perspective, how daunting a task it is to be the King. Not to Mention the Emotional Stacks for the Fight, it's Freaking Genius Story Writing.

This video is honestly the only reason why I decided to give One Piece a chance as I was one of the many who dismissed it as a way too long story and probably not worth it (which is understandable I mean over 1000 chapters and episodes). Because of this I’m grateful to not only this video but this channel as a whole as it’s helped me deal with a lot in the past few years. I thank you for introducing me to a fun, exciting and emotional story that Oda created more than any anime promotion ever could. I hope everything is made right with this mess so I may watch the other One Piece reviews once I catch up with the manga. Again, thank you TNM for making these videos and awesome channel.

Honestly, despite One Piece being as long as watching a snail move with a tree stapled on its back at times.... it’s now one of the best shows I’ve ever watched to date, the characters, the plot, the antagonists from both Pirates and Marines, the mystery of things like the actual One Piece, the Will of D, and the Ancient weapons, all of it is just incredible and I can’t wait to see how this all ends.

One thing he didn’t say, that always me speechless, is when Luffy tells Sanji stupid he was being . That Zeff didn’t lose a leg, just so Sanji would throw his life away for a ship. And then we see a Shanks flashback. When I still see this, I tear up a little. Luffy knows all to well what it means to be in someone debt, and it doesn’t mean you give up on your life.

what Zeff says to Sanji before he leaves was actually "kaze hikanaide yo" which literally translates to "dont catch a cold", a common phrase parents would say to their kids , just an offhand remark that ppl would say to someone they care about. and it greatly encapsulates how Zeff is truly THAT parental figure to Sanji, and thats what has Sanji break, at that moment he was reminded that here is an adult who truly cared for him and raised him as a respectable young man.

Oda’s work is truly phenomenal. I was writing a book myself, but had forgotten about it for so long (I felt incredibly bad) and it wasn’t until I watched about 1/4 through One Piece last year that I had the motivation to write again. I’ve seen and read many anime and manga series, but Oda’s story of One Piece was probably my biggest inspiration for writing again.
