This is so satisfying but so Sad at the same time 😂 I love decluttering and getting rid of things I don‘t need, but I have such a hard time getting rid of books. Even if I didn‘t enjoy then, which doesn’t make sense at all! So kudos to you for making all these hard decisions ❤

Try to pick up Uprooted at some point if you can Chan, it's better than Spinning Silver and might be a nice way to spend a rainy day! Not perfect by any means but definitely an enjoyable read.

Personally I think a good entry point for horror books is Ania Ahlborn. Pretty quick reads, effective storytelling. I started w Seed and am now 4 books deep in her backlog.

Hmm... I unhauled my Eloisa James books because the editions I had (UK)were given very similar covers to my beloved Georgette Heyer and my expectations were too high as a result. I also got rid of my copy of All the Rage because I was really disappointed in it. I was sooo disappointed in The Starless Sea as well. I own and have not read The American Roommate Experience, The Hours or Mosquitoland yet. I loved Circe and Girl with a Pearl Earring. I think I am on my third copy of the latter because I keep wanting to reread it and have enjoyed it more each time I do. I am not getting rid of it again. I bet your bookshop was pleased to see you arrive! Loved the video.

I'm excited to do a big unhaul this weekend. I'm going through the Konmari process, and after the clothes last weekend I had four full bags of donations. Books will be a little harder because because I'm a sentimental bitch (and they are in a shared library with my roommates), but I'm hoping to unhaul at least 50 books. Between OwlCrate books that I've lost interest in, duplicate copies, and things I've just collected over the past decade, I think it's possible.

Great Video :) If you'd like to dive into the horror genre, Stephen King might indeed not be the best author to Start with - his style is quite... special 😅 Maybe you would like Darcy Coates or T. Kingfisher more? Their books are truly amazing, spooky and somehow cozy :)

Half Price Books is such a ripoff! They gave me $12 for a huge box of stuff that included five Walking Dead box sets! I would rather donate to charity or the library than sell at Half Price Books.
