After a serious of progressively more brutal unhauls I am down to mostly books that I am excited to read, just need time for, or I truly love and want a copy of. Currently in a collection phase for a bunch of books I read audio/digitally/library and want my own copy

if you enjoy maggie's style of writing and you enjoy her crazy characters (especially ronan), you'll enjoy 'call down the hawk'. i'm in the middle of my second reread in prep for 'greywaren' and even though we're not with the same glorious gang from trc, the magic from the series is still very much there. it just feels like a sweet, exciting, and natural progression for ronan's story which gets braided into a few new characters' as well. really recommend giving it a shot, if only to witness adam parrish on a motorcycle.

Four Dead Queens by Astrid Scholte is a good read, and definitely worth reading if you haven't got rid of it yet. Astrid, as you would know is also super nice as well- she lives not far from me in Australia, and often comes into the bookstore i work in and has always signed copies for us!!

Arrow to the Moon was… not great. It broke my heart because her debut is one of my all-time favorites but AttM was a mess. Very, very insta-love-y and too many plots/retellings shoved into one book. Would have been more successful if it had just been a Chang’e retelling without the Shakespearean elements. I preordered it and wish I hadn’t 😢
