the so called "wise selection" led to selecting kings who were against eachother. The "scholars" used to be mostly the strongest influential men of the society. There wasn't a test for being wise. Khilafat sucks and it's pretty evident from the constant power struggles, civil wars and corruption. I don't need the so-called "scholars" picking my president for a life-time with almost absolute power. Khilafat sucked and Hitler sucked too
