You think so? I find that particular version of Emerald Steel to be rather lackluster and on the low end of power level. Beast is the only reason it's even on the radar.

I hear the talk about banning the fox from bounce. But when locations morph the meta, bounce is going to be weaker… IMHO

I'm actually really skeptical that locations, based on what we've seen anyway, won't actually be good. Some could be fantastic and I hope that's the case, but they feel slow and underwhelming right now

There is no reason to Nerf Fox. It's not really that powerful. The truth is, theres barely 2 sets out, and the card pool is too small. So the game has simply been solved. As more cards are introduced, newer and older cards will shift in perceived power, and players will call out something else as time elapses.

Oh I agree 100%, but that doesn't mean let the game be absolutely commanded by one color until a new set arrives. I've seen other games ban cards as quickly as a few weeks after release to the games benefit. It's too late now perhaps, but a restriction at the very least would have been nice while we wait for the next set

​@WintersLorcana I also agree. However I still don't think fox or snake are specifically is the issue. They're unplayable without targets. It's the Goats IMHO. You can win in many situations by simply having one in play and not even using them because of the threat they represent. Goat needed to be un-inkable, and or perhaps only gain 1 lore on the way in / out.

@@Saintbaileys goat is interesting but mostly harmless without bouncing ability. Perhaps most of the bounce things needed to be uninkable

@WintersLorcana perhaps. It may just very well be both cards in tandem. I don't think I've ever seen one without the other in many decks, if at all. Alone, they're okay, but the combo is just brutal. I still say Goat is a menace because you don't have to bounce him either. In many cases, opponents banishing a Goat on their turn could win you the game.

You can totally run Arthur. Pretty sure I've run that deck in the past. I try to run a new deck each day, so this late into st 2 with so few options I'm running out of new decks haha
