It's pretty amazing how well the older 16mp NEX bodies still perform. Personally, I would look for an NEX-5T. It's basically the same camera as the NEX-5N, but with a few minor improvements.

I have the 5n to be honest the 5t is alot more versitile; its not just the minor improvements in the software but the additional knobs and customizable buttons which makes shooting a breeze

i have a nex 7 and even now ir feels really good. This is a complete analogue of the a6000, but with a different firmware and a weaker autofocus, but still very good. I could get the nex 6 for the same price as the nex 7, but i preferred to have better image quality and size. But i would like to have a wireless connection for remote shooting and instant photo sharing

I have a nex 5t and a a5100. I like to compare the videos on both. in low light the nex 5t could go to low iso levels. The downside is the video codec avchd only. I wish sony brings back the 16mb sensor and improves it with the new processors they have.
