This is my whole childhood and for playing the game recently and especially seeing that everyone was enjoying the game, I feel like no one was excited for the only game that didn't got represented in the DLCs so far. Instead everyone's splitting at it. Ofc it could've been Wario Colloseum and I would've loved it. But for me Waluigi Stadium is truly what I grew up with knowing that I was too dumb to unlock the Special Cup and ended up playing all cups over and over again. And knowing I'll surely have to wait until maybe the last waves to get the other MKDD DLC tracks while MKWii fans already got Coconut Mall, Tree Mapleway AND now DK Summit... It makes me sad that Wii is that much overrated

These don't look half bad. The grass textures in DS Mario Circuit still look a little basic, but all in all, this is much better than before. You can see how the Booster Pass tracks get better and more polished with each wave. I just wish one of the next patches would add more of that spit shine to the first two waves.

All of this content for 8 really makes me wonder what Nintendo has in store for the next iteration in the series. I can almost see them making Mario Kart a subscription service keeping all the courses from 8 available and just introducing some kind of new mechanic for the main cups, more characters and maybe a couple new power ups. I just don’t see how they could compete with what they’ve already provided with 8.

This is objectively the best wave so far based on the quality of the upgraded retro tracks and the simple fact that they added a character in this wave. Yoshi’s Island is the best brand new track they’ve added and I gotta say, Waluigi Stadium is one of the best looking tracks in the game. I might actually get the booster pass this time.

Idk how to feel about waluigi stadium. I consider it my favorite. The old one had a certain hew to it and design wise it felt very rugged like it feels like a place where people rode motor cross bikes and mud got all over the place. This one feels too clean and organized with the short cuts and extra vehicles.

The only other course which would make sense to add anti-gravity to is Waluigi Pinball. Some people think Sky Garden, but when you look at the base game's courses, like Cloudtop Cruise, it's completely unnecessary unless they want to add some spin boost pillars.

Some changes happened with previous returns, such as how 7 turned the rope net bridge into a gliding section. I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo experimented with the return of the bridge and determined that it was too difficult to navigate with 12 racers. It's difficult to say.
