Legion videos are a delight when they come out (and i loooove long videos) and I really appreciate the stuff that can only happen because it's a video and not a stream: past Legion talking to future legion, the cinematics with facts, and of course the joy of a new video notification. in response to your question about livestreaming, i personally feel like i don't tune in that often, but i love SparkleEgg's longplay videos. i feel like there's not much editing done for the majority of those videos, and could definitely see livestreams becoming longplays once the stream ends. i love caving, resource gathering and structure hunting so i would totally watch videos doing that. i specifically like your channel for how long the videos are and how much is included, so i would be so excited for more long videos, regardless of what you're doing or how much is getting done

About the livestream, there might not be that much silence because in a livestream, you can interact with us, answer what we put in chat, strike up a topic of conversation (such as books, for example), you can do contest (winner gets an animal named after them etc). I've watched livestreams and they are pretty fun, Not to mention , you keep saying we didn't warn you about stuff, now we could do it LIVE... BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT, Imperator, I don't want you to do anything YOU are not comfortable doing. We will follow along whatever you decide :)

I would however like to know about your day to day life for sure. Hi Legion! Amazing video as always! I was wondering if you could include some facts about Roman Mythology in some of your time lapses? I don't know if I have missed any in previous videos, but as a mythology nerd, I would love to hear what you have to say about it. Maybe you could talk about the origins of Roman mythology with the combination of Greek beliefs and the preexisting deities from the area that became Rome/Italy? Or maybe where some of the Roman names for deities came from? Just think that would be cool. Can't wait for the next video!

That is the exact moss farm I build in every world from 1.18 to 1.21. I love it. I love my mossywhatever blocks. Sometimes it breaks, but it's always the cobblestone which is an easy fix. It will mossify blocks all around it, but they've never caused a malfunction.

I have been live streaming. i find playing with my friends makes it easier to avoid the long periods of silence when solo gaming. have stuff to chat about. and watch your commit sections so you can interact with your viewers. ill gladly watch if you start. if you have a tablet or a extra phone, use it to watch your stream so you can see if there are any problems you would not see on your main recording/streaming program. like lag. just mute the audio. good luck.

To help finish up the panda sanctuary, maybe just add in some mossy cobblestone, or even a little moss, and some moss carpet to help it feel more lush and vibrant. As it stands the smooth stone floor just sticks out as kind of “flat” with the mossy cobblestone interspersed in the walls.

Hey Legion! Great video so far! I think you would find allays pretty handy during your builds. You can hand one of them a dirt block so that when you destroy your temporary dirt bridges, they can simply collect them up for you. Similarly, if you have a few when you're harvesting from your tree farm, you can just run through and chop. By the time you've finished replanting, they'll have collected your sticks, saplings, and logs for you. I keep allays on leads by my tree farm, bamboo farm, crop farms, and mine. I'll usually borrow some from one of those places while I build because I'm a hoarder and I can't help myself from jumping down off a build just to grab a single log that fell after I misplaced and broke it. Good stuff, as always Legion. Builds look nice, and you’ve definitely inspired me to do something for my pandas, who have been stuck in a corner of my yard for years. Few things: -There are 3 Elder Guardians in each monument, 1 in each wing, and 1 in the top of the pyramid type structure. -Loot chests are very rare in Mansions, their original draw was to acquire totems, as raids were a few updates away still. Mansions probably need a loot update at this point, to be honest. -When low on jungle saplings, plant single saplings rather than 2x2s, the return on investment will (likely) be better. -When traveling 10,000+ blocks away from home, rather than flying back, you could find a new stronghold and use the lack of a spawn point (break bed before going into portal) to return to spawn. I know you’re not based at spawn, but could cut down on flight time a bit. -When you build your new tree farm, please incorporate nether tree areas, you were on the right path on how to grow them in the overworld on a previous video, just needed a bit more bonemeal (crimson and warped wort blocks are great to compost, once you get the cycle going it should sustain itself). Few ideas for future fun: -Collect the various mob heads, not an incredibly difficult thing to do, but a fun puzzle to figure out regardless -Collect all music discs (just a different challenge) -Collect all the goat horns, some can only be acquired through screaming goats, and though it can take awhile, it’s a decent challenge. Regarding panda breeding and Bedrock, yes, Bedrock also requires bamboo to be in the vicinity of the pandas in question. Which brings me to my last bit… if you’re up to it, doing 100 days in Bedrock would be fun to see, Java and Bedrock are just different enough that playing the other can be a nice change. Bedrock still doesn’t have an official Hardcore mode, but even 100 days of survival could be interesting. Glory to the Legion, keep up the great work

I use hay bales in the floor like bedding and carpets for little beds! Great for the panda cave. Make it a little cozier! And maybe more of the terracotta pots with vegetation

One cool thing about the pottery is you can add block on top of the pot and it melds together into a connected piece. For example adding a slab on top.

You should make a sleeping bag for exploring. I think the backpack mod you have lets you do that. It doesn't reset your respawn point so if you leave the end you will just respawn at home but can still sleep while out and about There should also be a secret archeology room in the desert temples. Not sure if theres a method to finding it lol I like livestreams but also timezones are lame and I usually can't catch them. Sometimes I watch VODs but usually only more chatty ones.

For the pandas it’d be cool is the outdoor area had a blocked off waterfall or a little lagoon. Also pandas need nests right? Beds of hay and wool just kinda scattered around in the bottom part maybe? 🤔 Jungles in minecraft also have melons and little shrubs/bushes. That’s more greenery

It might be tricky to replace quartz with other building materials, and I'm not sure thieves would go to the trouble. If we think of the quartz as a veneer, like the gold that used to be at the top of the great pyramid, it could be sensible to steal it, or perhaps it just fell off.

not sure if maybe this was addressed in the next video (have yet to see it, catching up on this one first), but scaffolding is actually not affected by gravity if you're going sideways! it'll still break if you knock it down, but you can look down and place the block, and then it'll start bridging on the side. edit: watching the 1400 days video now and oops yeah this was addressed ^^

Oh and to your question, yes, in woodland mansions there are secret rooms without doors. Up to eight, if I'm not remembering wrong. With no doors, you need to hack through the wall sometimes 😂 and some are just weird, but others can have a lava cube or an obsidian cube, both of which have a Diamon Block in the middle hidden inside 🫡

Book recommendations: Robin Hobb's Realm of the Elderings series. The main nine books is composed of three trilogies in this order: The Farseer Trilogy, The Tawny Man Trilogy and The Fitz and The Fool Trilogy. There are several accompanying trilogies that further build the world you could also read between the main nine if it grabs your fancy. It's fantasy and i highly recommend checking out the first book at least. It gets better and better each book, so if you get through the first and like it then you've just found series I think you'll highly enjoy.

Livestreaming should probably be more about what you want than anything else! Back when I had a living situation that supported livestreaming, doing it made me genuinely so happy, and I think if you're interested in it it's absolutely worth trying to see if it could bring you that sort of joy. A lot of people like livestreaming for the exact same reason they like longplays - just to have something calming/entertaining on in the background while they do other things, so I think you could easily find an audience for it, and I know I'd love to lurk in a stream if you tried it out. I'd be so supportive if it's something you wanted to try, but it's also not something you Have to try if you're not sure if you'd enjoy it. Again, I think it should be about you, first and foremost! I'll be watching you no matter what you do going forward!

Also, the panda sanctuary looks awesome! I think for the fact that it's a build where you deliberately went out of your comfort zone and tried to use different materials than normal, it fits in pretty nicely, and I think it's a sanctuary worthy of Jack Black for SURE. I'll be glad to see it finalized, but it looks so, so polished and finished for the most part!
