Hey Becky. I do know they left the canals to look after a family member who was end of life care. I assume that they decided to stay on land after They set up a studio. Hello You Three - greetings from a very snowy Nowe Slupno in Poland. We had 13cms of snow overnight! It's the 2nd of April! Many congratulations on reaching the milestone of 100 vlogs and having very nearly 10,000 subscibers. I have a feeling you may now get many more because of your two main "competitiors" deciding to go back onto dry land.. That was a brillian video. How wonderful to be able to join you on your first cruise out onto the cut. 480692 Morning Star really performed very well and did her stuff when you got stuck under the bridge. I hope you found the cause of the leak and not too much damage was caused to your fixtures and fittings. What with the broken paddle, that was an eventfull day - it's said that everything comes in threes! The journey through Foulridge Tunnel was exciting - the sailing lights shining on the tunnel walls gave a gorgeous effect. 6 hours of cruising, your fabulous banter and the great camera work with accompanying music - what more could any subscriber wish for. Glad you enjoyed guys. We were so ready to start cruising again. So much easier for Dexter to have his walks and the scenery is so much prettier. We can only assume the leak is down to water that may have got in during the storms through the entry points on the roof and settle there until we started moving. I remember when Anthony was camera shy in the early days too, not now I'm glad to say. Love it when you both chatter away, which is so enjoyable to watch. Good to see Dexter Dog, but he was keeping out of the way a lot on this Vlog? You were both on a roll this week, love Anthony's one liner to Paul, "You will go into a home" which was said with a cheeky grin, that was brilliant. After the boat was pushed across the canal, I loved Paul saying "She (Anthony) got everything under control" which again was brilliant. I'm really interested to hear more on your Lithium Battery when that Vlog comes along (Sorry Paul!!). Glad your warning Horn sorted it's-self out. Was it dirty contacts on the switching? I bet you did not expect it when your boat got grounded out of the blue. Well done for spotting the incoming pound was low on water. I like the way you are both professional in the way you navigate your boat. When you went thru the tunnel, is there any monitoring of boats entering the tunnel, and what would happen if a boat broke down mid tunnel? We are setting off on our hired narrowboat on the 8th April and will be heading up to Gargrave from the other side of the under repair, Eshton lock. We will walk into Gargrave so if you have any recommendations of where to eat please post them. We will then turn round and head for Bingley five rise and beyond. Best wishes

Hey Martin, We are pleased to say we did moor up safely after the eventful day. Aww have a fab trip on the boat. Gargrave is lovely. The little cafe on the corner is ok for coffee and cake. We live on 5 acres and forget how easy it is with a dog. When we go to a hotel and have to truss up and walk long halls I am reminded how easy it is at home. Glad Dexter is out on the cut again.

Check all the chimneys, mushrooms, etc on the roof to ensure water cannot enter through a part that might need resealing. The water could enter between the external roof and internal ceiling space before finding a weak part in the wood to enter into the boat? The recent severe storms will find the smallest way in! We had a similar experience via the chimney flue. Good to see you out cruising again - and belated Birthday Greetings Anthony.
