I used to love this show so much because - unlike most of the shows on TV - it was about FAMILY, not romances. (Romances, too, but family and friendship were just as important, as it should be.) Too bad it has changed a lot since then. I want more family moments!

+selene They are a big family so you do get that. And also family and romances are part of the story and fairytales!!! Didnt see much family in season 1 lol... Snowing love story was dominate - romance!!, and Emma and Henry bond. Evil queeen and Rumple doing evil things

+midnight blue That's true, love has always been the main theme of this show. But I think season 1 was still more about Emma getting to know Henry and her parents, it even ended with true love's kiss between a mother and a son. My favourite aspect of this show has always been the family dynamics; Regina/Henry/Emma, Baelfire/Rumple/Belle and Snow/Emma/David. Lately this show has focused more and more on Emma and Hook. I don't hate it, I'm just not interested about it. I'd like to see more about the characters as individuals and not just as couples. I think this show should put more weight on the importance of a love in its all forms - including family bonds and friendship. :)

selene We had a friendship focused last season on Emma's with Elsa and Regina sp there was that too. We also had Merida, Ruby and Mulan etc. Each season is a journey for Emma.. This season it happens to be alittle more with her love story which rightly it needs to be if you want that love story to achieve its peak esp for protagonist (to get to true love kiss, a commitment etc)... and fighting for her future and happy ending, which her family and friends are finally helping. And finally Emma herself and others (that she has helped along to get their own happy endings) now are supporting her... She deserves it.

midnight blue He is a main character yes, but he never was THE main character, and furthermore not even a lead (as said by Adam himself, there are 3 leads, Regina Emma & Snow). And yeah he is the whole and only point of this entire arc, but that's kind of the problem for many of us.

Papi Avor Err what! When i say Hook is main character i mean in main regular character status not Cruella who is guest star! So there is mega difference there (and also what Hook brings to the plot esp to Emma and so on and what happening right now etc and serving as main cast member) All the cast who are main regulars are Emma, Snow, Regina Rumple, Charming, Hook, Zelena, Belle and Robin (can be called main character in the sense main regulars - thats how i normally call them). BUT The central lead as the protagonist is Emma Swan (and i have always maintained that since season 1 - and her journey each season is focused on and her relationships with her son, her parents, her magic, acceptance, home, friendship and this her love story)! (sure the ladies, regina and snow and rumple take one up lead to the men and belle) And for the whole point of the arc - Yes the reason they are going to Underworld is Hook!!! BUT as furthering the storytelling as well, their will be other things going on then just saving Hook! but there will be mini arcs with every character... you see the difference?!!! Was Saving Henry just about him (yes the reason for even going neverland)... But other things and mini arcs was going on too and backstories connected!

I enjoyed the video overall. I was happy to see a lot from the earlier seasons included since those are my favorite. Congrats on 100 episodes. Loved all of the Snowing moments .Thank you for including a few nice moments for Rumple and Belle. I think I would have liked to see their true love's kiss in fairy tale land in the 'love' section or in the section that had other true love kisses. I was happy to see the TLK between Emma and Henry featured prominently. That is still one of my favorite moments and it trumps every Hook/Emma moment, and will always do so. Loved when this show was more about family and featured Emma and her relationships with family members that didn't involved talking about Hook. In the love section, I definitely would not have included Rumple/Cora (at least that moment) or Belle and Will (which was a huge failure and waste of time on the show). So including that big moment from Skin Deep of a TLK between Rumbelle would have been preferable. I was happy that there wasn't a ton of Hook. I thought I was going to be inundated with him, and I'm just tired of him so thank you for that. Though I found it strange that he wasn't included in the villains section. He is/was a villain as much as Rumple and Regina. He's had some of his best moments as a villain. Plus it would have been nice to see him on the Jolly Roger. He's Captain Hook, not some other random character. It would have been nice to see him in a setting that he is known for. Also, in the heroes section he's the only one shown killing someone. It was jarring. He also should have been included in the "new worlds" section going to Never land via the Jolly Roger. His closeup at the end of the Crocodile was one of his most iconic moments for me, and it was back when I still liked the character and found him engaging. I loved all the action and adventure, but I think have some of the quieter moments included would have been great. Those are some of my favorite moments in the show and one of the things I miss most about Season 1 and 2. Anyway, great job on the video. I loved it overall and it did remind me about why I fell in love with the show in the first place. And congrats again on 100 episodes.

+boushh2187 I love Hook. And i admit... there was not alot. I noticed. But he hasnt been a villain since season 2 finale as much!!! And he wasnt ALL a villain. I dont want to get into it. But i diagree with your Hook section. No words on Rumbelle (because thats just gone downhill so many times) and yeah i agree.. the iconic scene of crocodile should of been there. He has been hero all this time, since season 3 (atleast heroic sides with team hero)

+boushh2187 Yes Hook was a villain in the sense... counterpart is that he is a villain as in Captain Hook (in disney but in this show he is not a villain to the extent (big clue it was PAN the big villain)and in terms of Regina, Rumple, Cora, Pan whoever else who have done massive villainy things constantly) . But there is massive backstory on why and who he was... and what happened - he was a lieutentant, he became a pirate, he became captain hook (still a pirate!!!) (to hunt down a villain who killed his first love and then chopped his hand off) Pan and Cora who he sided were the bigger villains (and the reason he sided with them because of getting to Rumple - its what he did sadly) . He has been Team Heroes since season 2 finale... slowly slowly believing he can be one... its taken him as a person over 2 season or more to believe that and so on.And the heroic things even little minor ones. Esp the big one in the finale.

+boushh2187 Also since season 2 FINALE he hasn’t been a quite the villain since, and they spent the entire winter finale hammering home the HE IS A HERO AND DIED TO SAVE EVERYONE AND NOW THE FAMiILY GOES TO HELL TO RESCUE HIM! Here is another understanding of arc wise - (like Regina and Rumple were villains in season 1 big part of it drove the story (and flashbacks etc) - Rumple overall is STILL a villain in EACH season despite whichever villain we get!!!, Cora was the S2 villain overall (not hook in terms of overall even at times Regina was more of villains but her mother was the one overall), Pan and Zelena were the S3 villains, S4 was Snow Queen to an extent, and author, queens of darkness esp Cruella, S5 - Arthur! and the tragic way of dark ones that happened - but overall the villians were - Arthur,Zelena, Nimue and also Rumple too)

I think they could have used a shot of him that appeared more heroic in that section. What I am suggesting would have resulted in a little bit more of Hook (even though I am not a fan) because it would have made sense and worked better overall. +Aryan J I will respond to one of your posts. My suggestion to you is not to yell at someone (all caps and multiple exclamation points) when you reply to them. It's fine to just agree to disagree. I also watch the show so tell me what has happened really isn't going to change my opinion on how this particular piece was edited. One needs to understand what this piece was for. It wasn't just about one section of the show, but the entire show. So Hook has done villainous things on the show, therefore he should have been included in the villains section as well as the heroes section (whether or not I agree if he is a hero or not is besides the point). OMG! I'm so excited I can't wait for the 100th episode. And it's just in 2 more weeks😆. I really do hope that Emma and Killian do end up together and they get married, or at least engaged by the end of the season, same for Regina and Robin. And I would really love to see a little mermaid story arc on the show if and when there's going to be a season 6, I know they already showed Ariel, Eric, and Ursula but I do believe that there can be more to Ariel and Eric's story. Anyways really excited, CAPTAIN SAWN FOREVER!👍🏻❤️
