Need to give a thumbs down not because of the contents but it does not give an introduction warning that there are other words that can used as alternatives. In every language, there are several different words (synonyms) that can used interchangeable. In Spanish language, there are entirely different words used to describe the same subject (Latin American Spanish and European Spanish are not identical in the vocabulary). Just like Taiwan Mandarin have different preference of vocabulary than Communist China Mandarin. Is one more accurate than the other ? No, because history and traditions and politics have changed the vocabulary usage as it marks the territory of the speaker.

Best ever concept of Chinese language videos. Please come up with more common subjective vocabularies such as: politics, history, religious, culture, economy, financial, geography, medical scince, computer science, mechanical science, cosmology, common flora and fauna, farming amd agriculture, media and technology, so on...

It might be helpful to do a series on digital language (texts, Teams meetings, Microsoft, data, credentials, etc.) With work-from-home and digitalization, these topics are becoming a core part of daily life. Just a thought. Love the channel 🤩

*TOO FAST?* Control the video's playback speed by speeding up or slowing down the video *5% at a time* on *desktop computers and laptops* OR *25% at a time* on *smartphones!* Access the playback speed controls as follows: *Desktop Computers and Laptops:* open the video, then go to the *lower right* of the video's screen and click on the *settings icon* (it looks like a GEAR). On the upper right of the options window that comes up, you will see the link *"custom".* Click on the "custom" link to control the video's playback speed by speeding up or slowing down the video 5% at a time. *Smartphones:* open the video and go to the *upper right* of the video's screen. You will see *3 dots.* Click on them and you will see the link to open the *"playback speed"* controls. Click on this link and you will be able to control the video's playback speed by speeding up or slowing down the video 25% at a time. Note that viewing the video on desktop computer/laptops gives you *greater control* over the playback speed (5% vs 25% on smartphones).

very well presented and nice video as well! thank you for the great work. I got a question here, how come a learner doesn't know some basic words such as "company"," equipment" in these way complicated sentences with even more advanced words? I'm not saying Eileen's video isn't good, just wondering if you guys have ever thought about this question. For the video itself, it's very good to put all these business-related words in just one video.

你好 Eileen! 我有一个问题; why is the reason for the omission "ma" in the question Ni zhege yue fa le duoshao jiangjin ?
@MandarinCorner26 жыл бұрын
Because "duoshao" is the "question mark". For example: 你有多少钱?how much money do you have? , but 你有钱吗? Do you have money? "ma" is added before a statement.
