come to Toraja, South Sulawesi, is very worth it because you guys can see many things, like the traditional Toraja funeral ceremony, ancient stone graves, and a complex of rock graves in cliffs with caves containing coffins and human remains. Tongkonan traditional houses, museums, etc. If you guys are not in a hurry or budgeting, I strongly recommend taking the bus to go there because this is a cheaper way than taking the plane. By bus, it costs only $13-$14 for an 8-hour journey.

Been at UPG airport countless times when I was working in Buton Island and South Sulawesi, good people, good memories, plenty of room to sit and chill even sleep, pretty clean toilets, clean mosque, plenty of place to eat, lounges too, very efficient check in process. Never been to Palopo nor Toraja but the're so beautiful in this video.

One of the many things I love about Indonesia is the cultural and scenic diversity. Toraja is definitely unique and I'm sure you will have a chance to see a lot of interesting things -- One other thought that you will find at the funeral ceremony is that the sacrificed buffalos an pigs are cooked and distributed to the dozens (or hundreds) of mourners from the family and nearby villages -Thanks for the interesting vid
