I don't want to ruin the mood. But Ramadhan's father doesnt look happy when school topic come out. Their son make a lot of money for them and the father only selling snacks and beverage isnt enough to feed the family. It's ironic, but Ramadhan ain't going to school soon. Your kindness however, will always be remembered.

yea it's probably a better pursuit to help him get a new/better motorbike for his job or something of that nature rather than worry about schooling. he's already 11 or 16 and who knows when he was last in school or if ever.

Really good point. Also yes, i kept wondering why he (Luke) didn’t think to help with the bike issue that he repeatedly mentioned and unfortunately laughed about. Ofcourse, overall it was such an amazingly kind gesture to bring a smile to these beautiful innocent kids. However, to genuinely help, it would have been better to fully listen to them and spend that money in a way that could benefit not only the children’s future, but overall to benefit the family’s future. It was all too rushed for views likes and ultimately the agenda was to show how much kindness Luke gave, most people who do these type of videos really do it to help themselves rather than to actually help the individual(s) overall. But well done Luke, atleast you made them smile and you helped for your own self esteem. 🙏 Sending my prayers and positive energy to this family and other human beings who are truly struggling and working hard to survive. 🙏 💖

When you show a translated text to papa ramadhan. He replying "ga usah aja itu" or it means "thats not necessary". I believe most of indonesians that is not attending to a school till that age would never has the chance to get a school. Reason is : 1. If you have never entering elementary officially, you cant go middle school or even highschool so his(ramadhan) age doesnt affect to take him to midschool or high. And you should starting elementary school at first class or first year or begin from the start. Thats just my thought from me as a indonesian, and idk how it works in officially paper about the system. I doubt his father knew how to get his son to the school. So that money would never be used for the school. But for sure to supporting this ramadhan life

Ramadan wants to go to school, but even though he is a child, he knows that he needs to work and earn money for his family to survive every day, and I think he feels responsible for his job. I think his father is also sad that he does not earn enough to send his children to school. If we can help Ramadan to go to school, we may need to think about helping his brothers on a larger scale so that they can go to school as well. Maybe buying a new motorbike or tuk-tuk? If they can secure a means of earning a sustainable income in the future, Ramadan and his father will feel more positive. Anyways, We should always look at the bright side. Happy to see his smile 👍💖

Sadly many indonesian adult men unemployed, lossing hope and will to work hard , becoming lazt to work , relying heavily on family members to provide for family as opportunities for them to work are minimal as minimum wages is way too little and almost non existent. How do i know this, caused im auasie born indonesian that knows 6 men/fathers who dont work ( mentally lazy ) and getting moneg from wives and growing up kids like Ramadhan. I was in Seminyak a few months ago and I met two kids who were very much like these two. It was 10pm and they were doing card tricks for tourists like myself. I only gave them 100,000 each but that made their night. They were so happy and thankful. It’s sad they have to work all night in fancy parts of town and go back to their little village in the morning. I’m sure their parents work for tourists too.
