Anytime I buy batteries from anywhere other than Walmart,Target or Walgreens…the batteries suck. I’ve even bought some from Amazon, and I have about 30-40 AAA batteries, none of which work. Any suggestions?

I'm 61 and still sleep with night light. Dont have a basement but the entire house and garage is surrounded with sensor lights and the outdoor bults in purple are on all day. I have a flashlight by my bed, couch and in bathroom.

I knew that as soon as the dogs thought they were getting treats, they were getting treats. That is just how it goes. Love to see you dupe this box. Also, including batteries would be difficult because boxes with batteries have to be shipped differently, probably more expensive and slower.

If you added some pillow stuffing coming out of the bottom and then covered it and the sheet with some fine dirt (or whatever) you could make Pig Pen from “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!” And please recreate the box. Those videos are my favorite!

The ghost could look out of a window of a rarely used room, or put on a planter on/near rhe front porch (or perhaps peeking from between some bushes, around a corner of the house, etc. Could also be used without the base and tied to the downspout.)

My roommate DIY'd a few light-up ghosties for outside. She used a tomato plant cage zip tied together to make a cone shape, speared a half sphere of green craft foam on the top, draped a few dollar store white plastic tablecloths over, wound cheap lights underneath, put duct tape for eyes, and staked down with garden stakes. The wind ended up tearing apart the tablecloths, but overall it was a really cute effect! And the three together cost less than $15.

Great video as always. You could put the tree in a flower pot or something like that then weigh it down. And I just bought 48 AA batteries at Sam's club for $18. I have found it to be the cheapest place in my area to buy a large amount of batteries.

I do the same thing with scaring myself, like when I take my dog outside at night and I look at the windows and think what if I see a figure there.... and it scares me every time and I have to look away.

I bought a very similar ghost with lights at 5 below for $3-4. It had the same pole with a bowl to hold the head and black felt eyes. I will admit, yours came with better fabric. The 5Below one has a light gauze fabric.

I think last years spooky box from them was so much better. I agree it seemed more diy-ish. Like the tree could be recreated by spay painting some twiggy limbs sprinkling glitter over it while spray paint is wet and then placing in a pot to anchor. The ghost is definitely doable without much effort. Great video. I love that Ren was like look I sat, I'm taking my treat now, not performing endless tricks. The boys are so cute. My son said I'm glad she said it looked like a creepy toddler that's what I thought too!

It's the 22nd of October here and I still didn't decorate my house Alexandria. At my workplace is so sterssful and busy (since August) that I have no energies for that. BUT I am optimistic, soon I'll have some days off and hopefully that will boost up my morale and make me want to do more of the things I love, like reading, drawing, cooking, playing with dramatic makeup, cosplaying and taking photos.
