What are your weekly staples?!? This haul has pretty much all of my go-to items that are always on repeat in our house!!

Brussels, green beans, broccoli, zucchini, eggs, ground turkey, chicken, rice, potato’s, hashbrowns, hot sauce, jalapeños … basically buy these items weekly Lol. Can make all kinds of different style foods with this variety!

Definitely Trader Joe’s chicken fried rice and their chicken cilantro mini wontons. We keep that in the freezer for the days no one wants to cook and we have to restock every week ☺️

Canned beans freeze really well also, just rinse and drain and freeze for later. :) Ty for the vid!

Great haul and meals at the end! My weekly staples are: Organic greek yogurt, think sliced cheddar cheese, Dave's Good Seed Bread, Avocados, Mandarin oranges, frozen berries, oatmeal, canned chicken (for chicken salad), chickpeas, lemons and limes, arugula, spinach, or lettuce, Quest protein chips, Fiber One Protein bars, oat milk, and lean ground beef from the butcher.

Go to staples in our home: cottage cheese (to eat with berries or very cold grapes) yogurt (same idea) deli meat and sliced cheese. Lots of fruits and raw veggies for the kids to snack on. Ground turkey and salmon and chicken breast. Frozen Mac and cheese for the kids (Annie’s brand) and also apple gate gf chicken nuggets for them. We do a lot of bowls and different pastas like you. My kids love things like baked potato bar, meatloaf and mashed potatoes with a side salad. BBQ chicken and rice and broccoli. They love salmon rice and a salad. We eat a lot of eggs and avocado on sourdough in the mornings. Potatoes for hashes. Cranberry juice or tomato juice (I’m pregnant, that’s more so my kick lately) crackers with a fancy cheese for a snack. Really loving mixed greens with chicken and cherry tomatoes, I spray a little avocado spray and drizzle some balsamic glaze on top, SO GOOD. Chomps! Those are a quick easy protein snack. Hard boiled eggs. We do love chips in this house. Usually it’s poppables. Pickles! Olives! Medjool dates with some peanut butter.

Oooo I have not seen the frozen Annie's mac and cheese, I will look for that!! I also love cottage cheese and just forget it exists lol! Thank you for sharing this is a great list!!!

I love that you made the fresh versus frozen comment I hate when they try to make you feel like you didn’t make a healthy choice because your vegetables weren’t fresh.

My registered dietitian really helped me understand that they are frozen at peak freshness and just as good plus cheaper!! Win win!

Hi Lauren!! Love your videos thank you for making them!! If you are interested in a lower calorie/higher protein meatball - I will meal prep and batch cook this recipe and freeze it. It's so good! I'll eat with marinara or in a pita with hummus/ tzatziki /veggies or even just by themselves. MEATBALL INGREDIENTS 1 lb. 93% lean ground turkey 1 egg, beaten 1/3 cup oats 3 Tbsp. mint, finely chopped 1/2 tsp. salt 1⁄2 tsp. pepper 1⁄2 tsp. onion powder 1⁄2 tsp. garlic powder 1⁄4 tsp. cumin DIRECTIONS 1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 2. In a small bowl, beat the egg. Set aside. 3. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except turkey and egg. Mix ingredients well. 4. Add in turkey and mix. Then add in beaten egg and mix until all combined. 5. Portion meatballs into 2 Tbsp. portions. Lay them out on the baking sheet. 6. Bake for 15 - 18 minutes or until meatballs reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees. Just to compare here are the macros for 3 meatballs of this recipe: 3 meatballs: Cal: 125 Fat: 5.1 Carb: 3 Pro: 15.4
