i have ride one and didnt like it 🤷♂️ it goes fast in a straight line but thats about it . in the wood its spinning the rear wheel like crazy , no traction at all ,the engine make you feel like you do a hundred but you only goes 40 😆 on termac it rips... very high top speed . i think a 450 quad is a better machine overall more torque and the power is better put to the ground = faster

You can ride, and that's rocket motor territory, 100hp impressive. Very nice build. People comment on extending rear but you have more balls than they do..

These videos really make me miss the Banshee so much. My Brother had a 2002 Banshee(Black/White), and I have a 2002 400ex. It's hard to believe that we got them all the way back in 2002, although it does feel like another lifetime ago now. I do really like the thumpers, but I will always love 2 strokes, and the way that they deliver power. The power delivery of a Banshee motor is just so unique and satisfying. You can pretty much bang through the gears as fast as you can shift when you're in the power band. Also had a 1998 Blaster that I eventually put a Toomey B-1 pipe on, and it completely transformed that little 200cc 2 stroke engine. While it did make the power band really exciting, it had not one ounce of bottom end power, and as a result it took a whole lot of effort to keep it in the power band on the trails. Very nice machine you have there. Just hearing that Banshee rip really makes me miss having one around!

Everything has a power band 4 stroke or 2 all a “power band” is, is a engine in its peak hp rpm...2 strokes are just more known for their higher “power band” because they rev more meaning u have to keep them rev’d more to make power where 4strokes have decent bottom end torque

Only a suggestion but I believe If you lower both sprockets Normally I would do the front by smaller sprocket less teeth for track riding May be you’ll be doing wheelies all over the track lol But it should help with better low end in track situation since you already have an cheetah engine witch loves being in high speed

After seeing the dyno it's apparent that you have on tap 10hp at 4k (not too great obviously), an increase to 15hp at like 4250 (you must feel that!) and then a controllable 20hp all the way up to 6k and that's roughly the equivalent of riding a 400ex at full throttle through the woods so this definitely has bottom end. I love the whip-zip of that engine from 6-9k though, it probably feels like another form of an F1 car at times. And who would want more than 20HP in the woods? 30-40hp is more than enough. A quick clutch slip and the motor has spooled up already. The only thing better would be an OEM tripple 525 (375/2*3).

It's geared up to run over a hundred miles an hour on the stock gear and it does not sound like that
@Bingo_Bango_696 жыл бұрын
Any two stroke sounds sluggish at low rpm but he hardly did any real clutch work, he could just roll into powerband from whatever rpm he's in. If you know 2 strokes this thing did pretty damn good. Im always clutch in and out with plenty of short revs like a crackhead when im in the woods to not foul plugs put thats smaller cc 2 strokes. He was putsin around like nothing and he didnt even need to clear her throat to roll into power band. Id say that thing does pretty damn good.
@jutvaughn36996 жыл бұрын
That motor is just about wrung out it's mostly a top end motor. Its running very good up top and damn good down low, ever rode two-stroke like you stole it?
@farquadmantis84866 жыл бұрын
That's what makes 2 strokes fun. Its mellow until the expansion chambers start to resonate at their tuned rpm so you get a hit of power. Not sure if he has power valves or not but those help low rpm a bit. If you ride fast you really arnt in the lower rpms. You can port/modify 2 strokes to whatever rpm range you want the power if it doesn't suit you.
