Matt you need to par boil the pasta noodles first before you assemble the lasagna and bake it. I boil 3 lasagna sheets in salted water for 2 minutes and then take them out and assemble the layer. Boiling the pasta for 2 minutes first makes a huge difference

Matt, you're trying to cook that omurice omelette in a copper pan. It's cooked in a non-stick iron pan. Copper is a better conductor of heat than iron. It heats up too fast, gets hotter, retains heat better and hence, cooks the eggs faster. Thus, you got scrambled eggs all those times. Your choice of utensil was wrong. You needed to remove the copper pan from the flame and put it back into the flame, back and forth, while cooking the omelette. Which is why it kinda worked the fifth time when you removed it from the heat.

The lassagna actually looked epic! But you could see it was raw right as you unwrapped it. How about you make a bunch of regular lassagna and stack them up onto eachother? If you do it in a container it might keep its shape and then you just reheat it. Maybe?

You have to boil the pasta before layering it and putting it in the oven. You can’t just put it in the oven hard like he did, has to be soft. Just like you boil spaghetti noodles

@@BenDover-df5gu nah, you don't have to do that at all, the sauce has enough moisture to cook the pasta sheets just fine. I don't make lassagna often, but I've never once pre-cooked the pasta and it came out soft and delicious every time. Can't actually imagine usign soft pasta (unless it's freshly rolled), I reckon it would overcook way too much.

He could have just got the lasagna noodles that are oven ready, they cost more but it would have been cooked all the way through. That way he could stack them high with no problems or just cooked the noodles first.

In culinary school we learned how to cook eggs for a month. Heat is everything. There’s no way that lasagna cooked in one hour. The noodles are crispy! Next time boil the noodles..the instant ones are crap. Especially when you have such a massive dish.

I would say the best way you could have gone with the lasagna was get like 20 Frozen lasagnas with five layers just make them in the oven and then stack them on top of each other
