@PureMetalDragon
@PureMetalDragon Жыл бұрын
As a Talassar blue enthusiast (Bluecrons for the win) I also discovered a few original uses for it... Talassar blue over Runelord brass gives a tarnished dirty brass look. Try it out on all those bells on your Nurgle guys. Edit: whoops I checked my notes. It was Frostheart, not Talassar Blue. Talassar blue still gives a strange alien blue green metal. Want to quickly paint a bunch of Nephrek Necrons (golden body, green glow). Paint it gold all over, and add the Talassar blue where the glow is needed. Want a colored metallic that just seems to glow almost like a fluorescent paint. Get yourself the shiniest chrome paint you can (I used Tin Star by Turbodork. Beware: you'll be cleaning out micca particles out of that brush for days, but a good smooth coat will be almost mirror like) and add Talassar blue. Seriously stunning Do you have trouble wet blending? Necron hyperphase blades got you pulling out your hair? a coat of thinned down contrast (3 medium per paint) will smooth the transitions. Actually... Talassar blue might not be the best for this, better use a weaker contrast like Aethermatic Blue (what I use)

I can see some interesting uses for some of them, the Bloodletter I can see being used for a terrain piece or diorama for Bloodletters forming from a large pool of blood, the Deamonette I can also see being used for a terrain piece or diorama as a Deamonette frozen in solid ice, the Typhus Corrosion one reminds me of cave rock formation, and the Agrellan Earth one looks to me as a big desert rock :)

Blood for the blood god made it look like he just had to burrow out of a pile of corpses and i love everything about it. Just like this cartoonish ammount of gore. I love it

I'm surprised by the negative comments. "How dare you make silly and light-hearted content on ... ... ... KZbin."

The charged silence after that Daemonette.... I'm imagining some very pointed and judgmental stares directed at you sir lol. I can imagine my wife taking one look at that and looking up at me with flat dead eyes, slowly shaking her head walking away

The bloodletter timelapse had a really cool effect. It really does look like some very thick blood. And the composites also look really cool.

You should see how well different paint stripping materials handle the 100 layer challenge. I'm pretty sure we've all bought an old model at some point that just refused to go back to the bare metal.
