Hi Rob first thx a lot for this simple and very demonstrative video. I got a question about the ordering : you say to précise the camera model after the ordering. Does it mean that if I have different cameras I need to pay for each or when I pay for one I can have different profile for my different models. Thx in advance.

Hi Rob, I'm about to buy my first infrared camera, do you recommend a Nikon D3000 with 590nm? Can I put the Hoya R-72 filter on that camera to get the 720nm effect even though it's originally 590nm? Or can I emulate that effect with the "White" profile you mentioned? Thanks and greetings from México

The D3000 is a solid and affordable way to capture infrared images. Ensure that you use the live view for focusing and not the optical viewfinder; the optical view finder is calibrated for focusing in visible light and and will produce soft focus in IR. The 590nm conversion is a great way shoot IR. You can get color infrared images with no external filter and yes, adding an R72 will get your traditional infrared with white or lightly saturated foliage.

For the first time I can see an actual use for Profiles in Lightroom and I would pay for such a feature. Any chance you may have them compatible with Panasonic G1 (it's the only IR camera I have at the moment)

Yes, profiles are supported by the G1.

Yes, they work with any unconverted camera using a 720nm high-pass filter. Other filters will not work.
