*100 Mile Prep: Week 1 of 20 | Chasing a Sub 24-Hour Finish*
Join me on my 20-week journey to conquer the sub 24-hour mark at the Dinosaur Valley 100 in Glen Rose, TX, on November 23rd. This year, I’m aiming to achieve a goal that has eluded me in previous races. Will this be the year I break through?
In the past, my training focused heavily on running and threshold workouts. This time, I’m flipping the script and prioritizing strength training. My regimen includes 4-5 days of strength and conditioning, complemented by 3-4 running sessions each week.
I’m thrilled to document this adventure and share every step with you. Follow along for insights, progress updates, and the highs and lows of preparing for a 100-mile ultra marathon.
