A couple season ago we watched a lady named Crazy Quilt. She really wanted to see her moose. She saw one in a little pond, 150 yards from a visitor center and 100 yards from the highway. It was still a moose sighting though.

Awesome! 100 Mile Wilderness. So close to Katahdin it's not even funny. WTG Greyhound! I can so tell you're a southern gal, no one says "fixin to" like us southerners 😂. Okay, the southern drawl is a dead giveaway as well, but the "fixin to" @ 7:55 just sealed the deal 😊😁. Happy trekking! 🥾

2100 miles done and only 98.4 to go!!! That is amazing! You had some beautiful views today. I love the ponds, especially the one with the big rocks. The sunset was gorgeous.

Hi Greyhound. Patty and Stan here. We met at Full Goose Shelter in ME and hiked a few days w you, Possum and Old Buzzard. I have a great photo of the three of you on Baldpate. You have probably finished your thru-hike so congrats! We will finish at Katahdin next year. I'm heading out next week to hike the Foothills trail. Can't wait to get back out there! excited to see you finish what a journey the trail dried up that is so much better than when I was there good for you it was miserable for us guy I hiked with works for that section of the ATC he said the privy was replaced they put it like that to be cleaned up later

Thanks for the info on the privy. I took a few days with friends between my last video where the trail was so flooded and starting this section. Gave it a few sunny days for the water levels to drop.

Congrats... reaching the 100 plus 2100 miles!!! That is so exciting! I was thinking as I watched that Shaws offered a resupply service or used to? I think I remember 5 gallon buckets. But 10 days food.. that's way heavy

@@Rabid.Turtles yes they will drop a resupply, but it costs $70. You just have to walk fast so it doesn’t take 10 days. I think I had a light 5 days of food with me. I rationed it and lost a few lbs.
