100 Movies $100 (001): The Day of the Locust

In actuality Day Of The Locust if look at the movie ending copyright was supposed to be a 1974 film which was originally released in Dec of 74 But Paramount didn't release it until March of 1975.

I haven't seen Day of the Locust but they talk about it in a cinematography documentary called Visions of Light, so it's something I was always curious to check out. My only advice is to keep any clips under 30 seconds and to keep any music clips under 10 seconds including movie scores, in order to avoid copyright issues. :)

Thank you! I didn’t know that. From now on, I’ll follow that rule. The dvd copy I watched really could use some cleaning up - the outdoor shots must’ve been very nice in a big screen. If this ever gets a Blu-ray release…
