yeah, honestly. it feels like a kick in the shin that there's a mecha episode and a cowboy episode in the LAST season with only EIGHT episodes, when there's so many good concepts out there. i love having a silly episode in there per season, but with so many possibilities, i'd really like more than just six more real "what would happen if this specific thing went differently" scenarios. realistically, only 4 or 5, given there'll be a finale that's about the show itself.

Supreme Strange and Loki is the reason I subscribed Disney+ for 2 years straight. In one family event I even let the kids watch entire What If season 1 in living room. My sister like Supreme Strange because how tragic his love story and my nephew, being a kid, like him because he's overpowered. The only good episode in Season 2 are the one with Hela, I don't like the rest of the episode, watching them makes me bored and I ended up opening Facebook, but I waited for Supreme Strange episode and I was disappointed. The moment Season 2 ended I cancelled Disney+. Seeing this trailer make me want to subscribe again for 1 month but I rather not to, consider how boring the season 2 are.

If they wanted to put it on pause for a while until new stories were ready to be animated, great; that can pause as long as they like. But why they chose to explicitly end the series is beyond me. It just doesn't seem necessary, and they're only limiting themselves in the future.

When they showed Storm as Thor, I got literal chills. I know it's being explored in the comics currently, and to see a version of it on screen is amazingly satisfying. I mean, going from an omega-level mutant to a goddess-level is quite spectacular. Also, if anyone deserved that honor, it would be Storm.

@@omarsmith8934 It was so bizarre during the first season, apparently I was the only person who caught that they were making it into a continuity-based thing. A few episodes in people were starting to ask "Is this tying together?" and I would reply "Yes, that's the plan!" and they'd be stunned. It's not like I'm an insider (these days) so I don't know how that eluded everybody but me... But to get to the point, I think they wanted to have their cake and eat it too with the series. It's probably worked better than it had any business to so far, but you're certainly right to an extent at least -- there's no reason not to turn it back into an anthology when they are done with this season.
