You're right, that is a great Defenders Epic Collection of some primo issues! I thought The Headmen were just so cool when I was a kid and the Sons of the Serpent were always neat antagonists. I just wish they would reprint the letters pages in those Epic Collections, particularly for those 1970's Marvel volumes, as they contained a ton of good information. Nice haul!

Silver DC in general is so underrated and cheap compared to Marvel Books of the same age. I hate to complain about it, because I'm really benefiting from it - but I want more people to appreciate it. Lois and Jimmy are my jam for sure. Love it! Superman titles in general are very cheap too. Love the records you talk about. Keeps me learning about new stuff.

I think most people would agree with you. That is to say, commoners. The masses. The sheep and followers. What I love about The Ghosts that Haunt Me is the mood of the record as a whole. The sum is greater than it's parts. So dissecting it song by song like this is so, so, wrong. So wrong! But you are right, God Shuffled his feet is a great album with some great one-liners. It has a commercial appeal to it. Easily digestible with some good chuckles. Honestly, I DO love it, and I love it more after hearing your delight in talking about it! And I do agree about that line on The Ghosts that Haunt Me, "I don't miss my old dog much," has to be about a sociopath! It's one of those lines I have to overlook and mumble through when I sing along. Great throw down, David! This was a fun watch! You should do a poll on your community tab and have people vote!

I kind of like the looks of that Red Skull. I collected comics through the latter 1970s and early 80s. I had Uncanny X-Men number 1. I sold the entire collection to a comic shop because I needed a utility deposit for one of my first apartments. I won't tell you the ridiculously low price I sold them for, because you'd kill me and I'm still ashamed. Later got kicked out of that apartment for having a loud party. Sure wish I had those comics back. Great video, David!

The Beer cans were cool!!! When I went to Italy, the beer was cheapest thing to buy to drink. Italy beer cans has devils, demons and a lot more evil stuff on them. It was crazy. You need to record an ablum with those pipes. My LCS had Gone and the Batman oversized comics. There was another one but I can't remember what it was. The Batman they overpriced it because it was their last one. A vicious circle, I'm going to look for it. It sounds interesting.

I have that Frank Miller cover (just a standard copy). I'd like to get a nicer variant of it but it doesn't seem to sell cheap. There was X-Force 48 as a response to that and I'd like to get that comic too. I want to get the Dark Knight 3 Master Race issue 4 cover with Wonder Woman on it as well, but that doesn't sell cheaply. Everyone hated that when it came out.

Loved that can collection. The WTF can being my favorite. That recital was also insanely impressive, if for nothing else, the memorization. You are enticing me with all these cool comics and great artwork, but sweet fancy Moses, I cannot afford another hobby! I'm impressed with the editing of your videos. The surprise shot of your cats over your shoulder, for instance, was a great touch. Your videos always seem full of movement, even when you're just sitting there. I need to work on this technique! I think with the Tenacious D incident it might have been dark humor expressed at the wrong time...much humor goes to ugly places or forbidden topics for its punch. Unfortunately joking iff the cuff can get you into deep trouble too.

It is better to get a thumbs down than no reaction at all. KZbin algorithm is fed by these inputs no matter if it is positive or negative. Keep doing shorts, they really expand your audience. By the way I just learned a setting that you must disable on new videos to make it performer better. I will try with my upcoming video and I will share the secret if it really works. cheers!
