I live in AL, in a small town, have for decades. AL small towns are slow, rural and quiet, great for retirees, expect some driving to get to larger cities. Winters mild, summer/spring, hot sticky, tornados are a given. Dont expect these small Southern towns traditions and lifestyles to change anytime soon, or the large ones either.
@daisylu12034 ай бұрын
@IrishGirl23 What size city? The large cities in AL are more than 30 min away from beaches, an hour or more. There are small cities nearer to beaches but still more than 30 min. Also cost of living, even smaller towns in AL near beaches are more expensive.
