Idk what my elo is, as I mainly play against bots or do puzzles (too nervous to play against other people). But I'm really proud of myself for finding the first two brilliant moves, even though I've never played a brilliant move myself. My personal highest accuracy was 95.9, tho that was against a lowly rated bot lol. Still, only having excellent and best moves (not including book moves) is a miracle for me, knowing I tend to mess up fairly often. Also, that game was just stunning. Was freaking out a little by the amount of book moves played. Never would've thought that many were possible ngl
@mango7753 Жыл бұрын
There is a roy lopez variation sideline, and that sideline has around 17-19 book moves. Some games can even go up to 32 book moves (but I forgot the opening names, they are extremely unorthodox. Also, I'm just wondering, why are you nervous playing other people? It's just a board game, and you can play online, behind a computer. Your opponent won't know who you are, and you also won't know who he/she is, so is it that nerve-wrecking to play other people? Personally, I believe playing computers won't make you any better because bots are inclined to make at least some blunders or inaccuracies, but humans are way more logical and precise. You can learn a lot more and have a lot more fun playing humans rather than computers.
@yann1ck666 Жыл бұрын
@@mango7753 That's insane. 32 book moves?! Also I guess it's just the pressure to perform when the time is ticking. A bit of performance anxiety. But yeah, you're right. I'll try to play more against actual people. Hopefully it does make me perform better as time goes by. Might even help me learn to keep calm under pressure. Anyways, thanks. Probably needed that little push more than I'd like to admit

It was where the white horse takes the middle pawn and then the other pawn goes up two forking the 2 pieces and then they bring their queen up two diagonally with thoughs of winning my queen,but I go knight d5 stopping all the idiotic threats and causing all kinds of grief. And then their king goes here and there out of desperation and my queen comes closer like a little bitxh and they resign one move before checkmate in absolute shame .

are you being serious? Did you even watch the video? The game review was already over and I am showing analysis (where you can add your own comments including whether you think moves are bad, good or brilliant). In addition, the whole concept of brilliant moves in general is based on human perspective (beauty, difficulty etc.) Stockfish is not the best judge of it. You should pick up a chess book and read where the authors of books (who are usually masters and grandmasters) comment which move is good, bad or brilliant. Kids think chess concepts are invented by chesscom and it's absolutely ignorant
@hemlatasuman2238 Жыл бұрын
