This session was very inspirational ... looking forward to meeting him at Language Fest and the Polyglot Conference of 2017 ... I agree there is not specific way to learn languages .... just staying focused and practice is key

Although Kris says you cant fail there are plenty of people out there who have been learning for 20+ yrs and still can't get it.

What do you mean by "can't get it"? and how many hours per week on average for those 20 years with what methods? I don't believe anyone could be putting in consistent effort and not see any results after 20 years

@@krisbroholm Well,I've met plenty of expats who said they have been trying to learn Spanish or French etc...and still don't speak the language.I don't know how hard they were trying though.

I like polyglottism. Polyglot community implies a relatively homogeneous group with a lot of contact.
