I was raised to always help others. My father was a farmer, he lost his life just before the harvest. I was 10 years old, A day later I woke up to the sounds of tractors and lots of people talking. All of our neighbors came together to bring in my fathers harvest. Their wives started setting up tables and cooking, at the end of the day, At the end of the day, the crops were in and everyone was fed and I learned a very valuable lesson. It's not what you have, it's how you share what you have. There are so many people in need and very few willing to help. I am now an old man, however, if my neighbors have a problem, I will help, no matter what it takes. Helping others is why I volunteer as a Hospice volunteer. What you give to others, comes back to you 10 fold.

It pisses me off the way homeless people are treated like they're trash. I used to be homeless and I completely understand their predicament. To see people help them puts a smile on my face and lets me know that there are good people on this planet.

@Sean James I gave bags of food and other stuff to people before, because if it is someone who doesn’t need it, at least we didn’t give money to those people. And if they are homeless I’m sure it’s helpful to have food and stuff now.

Sadly, now it’s hard to actually know if someone is homeless and asking for something or if it’s some loser asking for money when they already have a home and money.

I always go out of my way to help the homeless if I can, helped a guy get on his feet few years ago and it makes me happy every time I think of that, no one should be on the street. It's a huge disgrace that kind souls don't seem to be common.

There is a part where a dog is hog tied and it's mouth taped too. My heart breaks for that poor thing. Thank you whoever you are for saving him/her. I hope that whoever did that, is terribly ashamed of their actions.

Thanks for clearing that up. The idea of someone having done that was so far out, it would never registered in my brain. The caption certainly didn't help. Still don't know what "dog meat rescue" means exactly.

As a kid we use to have neighbors who were both blind so every winter when it snowed we would shovel their sidewalk and porch put down salt if it got icy and never told them when we did it because thats what you do help those without expecting anything in return.

Just this evening as I got off work there was a homeless guy with a sign asking for help. I went to the burger drive thu, bought him a burger and a coke. Gave him the three bucks I had. He was so great full.

When my boys were young, we lived in a quaint rural area. One day, I saw my boys doing something in the neighbors yard. I was about to yell at them to get out of his yard, but then I noticed that they were cleaning trash that had come from the tipped over trash can. I don't think I ever taught them to do that. They were around 5 and 3 years old. They are both legal adults now and are still kind and helpful boys.

i remember trying to get home from birmingham uk, i was stuck with no money and was trying to thumb a lift home. Some random guy came out of his home and gave me money to buy food. I will always remember that guy, i dont know his name, but if i could find him i would return the favour. I remember his face cause i have photogenic memory and thats no joke, i remember faces from people i have met from over 20 years ago, and i never forget conversations, though i am really bad with names

So many animal rescue videos are fake . Fake a rescue than ask for donations I will never understand how people can be so cruel .cruel to animals means they are also cruel to their fellow humans.

It's not really an act of kindness if when giving some money or food to a homeless person or someone less fortunate than yourself, you jam a camera in their face and then upload the video to KZbin for more clicks. The narcissistic side of this act outweighs the empathetic side.

I very much doubt it. This is how the human trash that trains dogs for dog fighting use other dogs as bait to help train their dogs. It's one of the most truly despicable actions on the planet.

Helping another human or an animal is a natural duty, no matter who is the helped person/animal. Helping the other living creatures is the only way to improve the world. We have to shave some food and dring, to share some of our time to recomfort someone, to smile to a person who is sad, to help an old or disabled person, to give food and some friendship words to a poor person, etc... There are always some ways to help others, no matter their colour of skin, their age, their gender or their sexuality, their religion, their social class, their language, etc Each one can help someone, who will help someone else later, and so on.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that turtle at 22:35 looks like a tortoise, not a turtle that lives in water. He should have just set it a little ways from the water. The way it sank makes me think he just drowned it. Hope I'm wrong.

But man, there's a difference between "wow cute cool" and "sweet kind care" The lady videoing an animal almost drown and didn't help it was crap. Acts of kindness are great. However it often shows what the f is wrong with this world. Why for crying out loud should there be that many homeless in the US ?? It proclaims to be the richest country in the world.
