sir, on 10:53, about u365 chip, you said that if pin1or7 is no voltage, it ll be abnormal. But what is the cause that pin 5 and 6 is without voltage and other have 3.3v (pin1,2,3,7,8)?

Not all named parts on the schematics is available on the board. There'll be a sign that will indicate the part was not included. Another method is to compare the PCB with another exact type

Get the datasheet for the chip, identify what those pins are. I don't have the board with me.

1. It is a common problem with the hp 2. Ile-Ife, Osun State 3. 15k on an average. Have you exhausted all the troubleshooting steps you can do on your own?

sir, after watching ur video repeatedly, i check my laptop again and found that U7400 semiconductor is default (pin 1 and 7 is no voltage at all, pin 8 has 5v and pin 2,3,5,6 have round about 1.2v). I would like to know is that 1). direct replace this U7400, will it correct the problem? 2). do i need to flash the BIOS chip and update firmware as like ur video label as u365 ?

For me the adapter was was the problem one of the wire was cut and now fixed. and plug-in light keep blinked white and yellow.

Good one! Elitebook PCs requires two voltages to be present. The white and yellow can also indicate charger error. And this is tricky, you might be in confusion when same charger charges another PC that doesn't require the two voltages to be present before the PC can charge or turn on. The easy way out is to check the charger with multimeter for voltages presence or you swap the charger with another same-working PC. I'm glad you were able to record success in this repair

You likely have a BIOS problem, but try to reset the BIOS and see what will happen

I'm glad your PC is ok now. Most PC hiccups can be solved by simply removing source of power and consequently draining the PC of residual voltage.
