1. Do you want to go cinema? (Please see the word "want" ) 2. Are you going to cinema now? (Please see the word "going") It can not be "wanting" in the first question and "go" in the second question. An action verb like "want" has two parts. It is "Do + Want". "Do" is silent. When you ask a question the "Do" is revealed and used to start a question. "Are" can not be split into "Do + are" because the verb "are" can stand alone. So we can not have "Are you go to..." . Are will be followed by "ing" verb in questions. This may be confusing to you. But when learn more and more these are actually very simple.
