Mother Mary Jane Hopkins (1887-1995) Her father, Andrew Patterson, was likely around 108-109 at the time of his death (his age is listed as "8" in the 1870 census, and he died in July 1970). her sister died in 2001, was named Elnora Simmons, and she was likely 110 or 111 at the time of her death. I remember Mother Hopkins. She was the supervisor of women for Northeast Michigan Jurisdiction under Bishop P.A. Brooks. My great uncle and aunt, Deacon and Missionary Blackmon where her caretakers during her last years. She lived in their home. She ended up living to 108 years old My other great uncle, Supt. Louis Andrews, was her pastor. My great aunts and grandmother worked in Mother's cabinet for many years. When she passed, Bishop Chandler Owens who was the Presiding Bishop at the time preached her eulogy
