One very important request I have concerning your dad, I can see he is having a lot of pain in his back which will grow worse if he does not rest it. I suggest you tie him at home for a week at least so that he can heal. I said tie because I know he will not rest even if you tell him to! Health comes before every thing. I wish we did have this amazing unit back when we had our house built in the mid 80s, but solar energy wasnt even heard of here in New Zealand at that time, (that I know of anyway). My parent (now in their mid-60s) did change to solar in Nov 2018, after gentle co-ercing by officials, but I dont know if this amazing contraption you're already an expert at using, is even heard of here (NZ) yet. I always look forward to every step you and your Dad take. The results are so humbling, and the little lady flitting in and out of view looks like the build inspector. So cute.

I just finished watching episode 1,2,and 3. Bravo ! Very good! Cleanliness is next to Godliness. Answers to the qualms about cleaning. I would get a good metal detector and check the floors and paths for treasure. The broken glass could be used for a mosaic floor ,tumble the glass in the cement mixer with sand to smooth . Your land/ house ,let God and your heart lead The way.👍😁 Good luck. The stone work looks very very old.

Alex are you using lime mortar or cement? Hopefully lime as it is flexible like the dirt packed original materials used. Then you can do a rim concrete pour with rebar to make the whole structure safe and seismically secure.

It's better that you have your extension cord unwound, especially in high temperatures. When it's wound the maximum current is very limited due to the lack of cooling the insulation. At 2 kW of constant power you can burn the cord. It happened to me once in winter time in Poland (about 4deg above plus).
