AM B it’s the same for every decade. The shoes they pick aren’t necessary what everyone wore, just something that became a fad somewhere during those ten years. For example, most people weren’t wearing flip flops in the fifties. That’s just when they started becoming popular. They use photos as examples, but that’s just one photo of what people wore. Today people wear a wide range of things. It was the same then, too. These videos are fun to watch, but they only show a bit of history.

Most of those shoes you can still find today--but the 20’s shoes were my favorite! They need to make a comeback!!!!

Ah, I remember jelly shoes. I used to have a pair of pink, glittery ones when I was wee. I remember those disco platforms came back in again around 97 or 98. My mum took me to visit her friend and I remember she answered the door in these HUGE metallic silver platform heels, just like those ones.

Fun fact. Dr Martens were also very popular amongst skinheads in 70s England

I remember owning and wearing jelly shoes in the early to mid '80s. By the '90s they were pretty much completely gone...

They made a very small resurgence when I was a kid in the 90s

I love the older shoes. They had such style compared of the modern ones. I found a pair of gold glitter jellies recently online.

I'm agree with lots of people... I was born in 81 and wore Jellies as a child in 80's and Dr Martens in 90's when I was a teen. I also think that you could do better for 50's... ;) I hate so much the 2010 shoes, but I also seen so much people wore it at this period...

yea doc martens are def a 90s thing, punks rose in 70s and 90s but kinda vanished in the 80s

Nooooooo, jelly sandals was popular decade 80's, us were called cangrejeras in Spain. I wore them when I was a child.
@acreshome35495 жыл бұрын
They also made a comeback in the early 2000's and just recently a few years ago. I remember in 2004 I had a couple pairs myself and now my younger sister has a pair but they were definitely popular in the 80's not the 90's

The Macabre Curiosity It’s one reason I love winter. Boots are by far my preference! But in Tennessee, it’s kind of impossible to go that route most of the time. I bide my time in ballet flats mostly, then as soon as possible the boots come out! I cackle over my shoe shine kit and just wait it out. 😈

I love all of these. The 1910’s, 1940’s and 1980’s ones are GORGEOUS. But jelly sandals are EVIL. They’ve always been blister-giving nightmare shoes.
