15 MIN RESTORATION

15 MIN RESTORATION

3 жыл бұрын

Restoration and repair of a hundred years old teapot which we have bought it from an old man. He says it’s a royal teapot. First when we got this old teapot, it was in a very bad condition. We made a plan and thought how to restore it and make it new.
The outcome is unbelievable. We renew it and made it shiny and royal again. It took us two days to finish the video and as we want to make our all videos only for 15 minutes, we edited the video professionally to reduce it to 15 minutes.
Follow us on our social media accounts.

Instead of all that work rubbing it and then using sandpaper on it (of all things which will damage the item by taking off too much material), the best way to remove all the oxidization is with a soda blast unit. Reasonably cheap , easy to do and much better than sandpaper.

You can put some lemon juice and salt in the water. I don't think it would be necessary to boil the water. Diluted tartaric acid also takes residue and oxidation off copper/bronze. I wouldn't use sandpaper on such a soft metal.

Aku menghargai kerja mu. Semoga bertambah maju.

boiled water, baking soda, oil and aluminum foil will take off all the tarnish. No sanding, no boiling for 2 hours. Or use an aluminum pot to put the piece(s) in then add the baking soda and oil....it all slides off.

@sypoth
@sypoth 2 жыл бұрын
First off you use a chemical means like vinegar and salt. You can mix it with flour to thicken it up, then you use a small rag and a stick. Both to apply it and then to polish it with either a tripoli or rouge compound. But he was more focused on making the picture dance and slide in and out to think of doing that.
