I was a dealer for many years. Let It Ride was a fun game when the players were part of a group or slightly drunk. It was a super hoot. I dealt a Royal, 4 of a kind and straight flush. The Royal was to a group of family members from the midwest. Don't see that game much anymore. Love your table game videos.

4 years ago I was at the Bellaggio and played this with only one other person at the table. At one point I was dealt 10, J & K of clubs, took both my bets back and didn’t even get close. THE VERY NEXT DEAL I was dealt EXACTLY THE SAME 3 CARDS. Went for it this time, and kept all my bets out. The first card the dealer turned over was the Q of clubs, so I wanted the Ace for a royal flush or the 9 for a straight flush. Dealer had a club as their 2nd card but it wasn’t the nine or the Ace. My stomach was churning and I had the shakes before that second card was turned over! I would have won 65k, and tax-free as I’m not a US citizen. Got beginner’s luck with 4 of a kind many years ago within 20 minutes the first time ever playing it but hardly ever play this game any longer as the best I can do these days is nothing better than a flush. I’ve had a dealer tell me that someone in their casino gets a royal flush about once a month but I don’t believe that.

Yes my favorite table game! I have a hard time finding this game anymore. Do they always have it at El Cortez? I love this game because if you play correctly you never lose more than 1 bet per hand, and if you get lucky you can win big. The way I prefer to play is always pull the first bet unless you have an immediate winner, the only exception being I will play any 3 to a royal, like you had early. I pull the second bet unless my hand is now a winner, I have a flush draw, or open ended straight draw. I will also leave the 2nd bet out if I have a high gutshot where any card 10-A makes a winning hand. Thanks for the stream of this game, I hope to see it again!!

How is aggregate determined? Just your basic bet? You were playing $15/bet per hand, on the basic pay table. If you hit royal, you should get paid $15000 per bet. $45k plus 3 card payout, or would you only get $25k?

Nice Flush! That's the closest I've seen anyone come to a royal. While not the best odds, I always have fun sitting at a full table. Last trip out, I hit 4OAK over at 4 Queens with all three bets up. You should give Mississippi Stud a shot. It's kind of like Let It Ride in reverse.

you should always play the one dollar bet at the top.. biggest payout ..if you hit the royal you were talking about you throw away 20k. i play this all the time and have hit the straight flush 4 times an extra 8k .. way more than i have ever put out in $1 bets at top. you have to look at the long game.

As I explained in the video, there is a table maximum aggregate payout of $25k. This means at my bet level, if I hit a royal flush, the $1 bet would make no difference to my payout. I hope that helps.

@@allcasinoaction Hi, unless they have changed it or they had a special arrangement. i used to play with a guy at the riverside in laughlin, that played $100 per spot and $100 on the 3 card and still play the dollar bonus . I have witnessed him receiving up to $40k on wins. But i guess i should have not used the story about the royal payout. (how often you going to hit that anyway?) the bonus does pay out really well. for all other hits you would get even at your play lvl. (btw i play $25 per spot when i play). It was a bad table. Beside that flush, nothing was good. But do us a favour. When you get any small pair, see one card cuz you can get payout on all spots when you hit 4 of a kind or full house .
