YAY keep the let it ride streams coming! This is my favorite table game, its fun to play with 3 or 4 other people at the table. Its such a simple game you can get free drinks and have no problems playing. If you play the way I do, you almost never lose more than 1 bet per hand and have a chance to get lucky and win many bets. I prefer taking back a bet for any non-immediate winning hand the only exception 3 cards to a royal. Even when starting 3 to a flush, I pull that first bet because more than 75% of the time the next card is going to wreck your hand. If I get to having 4 to a flush (or 4 to open ended straight) then I leave 2 bets out hoping to hit the nice payout. This way you will never lose all 3 bets (first dealer card flush card, 2nd one not), and seldom only lose 2. I also don't play the $1 bonus bet, its not worth it .

I agree with almost everything you did . In some instances I might hold a fish draw but only with 2 high cards or where it's connected. Otherwise you could get suckered in and end up breaking even. I've seen people hold or let it ride on the first cards with small pairs. Their reasoning is you get 2 chances to hit something .

If you play this again, may I suggest when you start off with pair 22-99 you let it ride to see fourth card. If you don’t hit three of kind or two pair then pull back the second... (use the strategy you use when you start off with three to a flush) increases your variance but the payout is such that the gamble worth it

@LV Joe Optimal strategy is to let it ride on a winning hand (10’s or higher) or certain flush draws when you have seen only three cards. Forget Let It Ride for a moment and turn the game around. You bet an ante of $25 and get dealt three cards. Would you double your bet after being dealt a pair of low cards? That’s what you are doing if you don’t pull back a bet in Let It Ride. If you’re still not convinced, I’ll play Five Card Stud with you anytime. 😁

I play let it ride all the time and I would really tell you to get the one dollar bonus chip, it can be a bit of extra money in you pocket. I hit a straight rush once and win a grand just on that!

There is a maximum aggregate payout on the table of $25000, so at my stakes the $1 bonus won’t make any difference for a royal flush, and wouldn’t make too much of a difference for the smaller hands. However if you like to play it, then feel free! :)

@@allcasinoaction Obviously. Let it Ride is simply the worst of the lot. The structure of the betting, and the obvious fact that 8 pairs are losers make it simply over the top. I think that the 2 best games are Texas Hold Em and Black Jack. Those 2 games allow for skill of the player to lower the house advantage or in the case of black jack to tip the advantage to the player. (until the casino backs them off ofc)

It seems like if you have a flush you should check (get the 1 bet back) then if not the same suit get 2 bet back, You would not lose the extra chip. When the dealer left the 1 bet and pushed the 2 bet back you only succeeded in a push on the entire bet. I'm just looking at the chips laid and lost. Tell me if I am wrong??

The decks alternate after each hand. I usually cut out the shuffling of the decks as it takes a while and isn’t important to the video. I hope that helps!

Slotlady thanks for the reply ... hope you are keeping safe in these strange times . I had a question/idea that might be good content for you to do a video . Given the fact that many people are self isolating and many casinos are closed , would you ever consider doing an episode on on-line casinos. I am a fellow Canadian and know there aren’t as many sites as the U.S. but there seem to be several Canadian sites . I always wondered how the payouts were and variety of slots , might make for a great episode given the times right now and would be well received I think. Just food for thought . Some of these table games can be random at times, Mississippi is like a roller coaster and this is a hit or miss... my local casino had a $5 progressive bonus on top, had once where I hit a straight and then a full house back to back and went up $600-700.. wasn’t even betting that much
