@@호꿈 ARES targeting is nutty. It effectively triples the Goliath's damage output if they're firing on Armored air units, and doubles it against Light air units. Either way, it dramatically increases their overall damage output, and keeps that damage in a pretty condensed package. That was 40/60 supply of Goliath(depending on WoL or CoOp mission variants, I believe other than Supply count they are virtually identical) taking on 85 supply of Marine/Liberator, whose army also had nearly 50% higher mineral cost and over double the Vespene cost of the Goliath army. *Goliaths are pretty bad in 1:1 resource ratio engagements against pure air or pure ground, but can often overperform if given a fight against air/ground mixed forces* Tya, I'd like to update my triple-race-unit comp request to have Zealot-Goliath-Corruptor take on Void Ray-Marine-Zergling

This video more than any other shows how important flanking is. Primal guardians were owning until the marines finally made enough forward process to flank, and the Marauder Commandos were trading evenly with the Infested Razorbacks until they gained the flank upper hand. Keep up the great vids!

Sovereign BCs vs normal BCs would be a decent matchup, one with their normal guns and another with their mini-yamato guns.

Sovereigns win that matchup pretty hard. They have like 200 more HP base, and AtX does 10 damage base, as opposed to 5 for AtA. Yamato does even the odds, but not enough to overcome that deficit. Then mini yamato cannon is, well, a yamato cannon, but for every shot. BCs aren't particularly good against yamato cannons.

Mini Yamato 3 shots with 200(+20) damage. They have 3 base armour( 6 max). AtA on the BCs do max 8 so thats 2 damage a shot to Sovereigns assuming 3-3. Sovereigns have 900 hp and the auto attack does 18(+2). You could do a 10 vs 30 maybe with yamatos but like 10 vs 100 without

I'm pretty sure the main reason those Battlecruisers lost is because a lot of them jumped out instead of firing their yamato... You can definetly see a lot of the BCs trying to charge their yamato when coming in for the second time after their hyperspace just only to get blasted to bits before it's ready because they're only at half health. I feel like those tactical jumps hurt way more than they help

@@sephirothjc I'm not sure that any quantity of bio ground units can kill Dehaka. His devour replenishing his health, combined with his powerful anti ground AOE specials sweeping away anyone that might be near enough to hit him means that he may very well heal faster than the units can damage him.

@@xanderbackus447 bio ground can absolutely delete dehaka. Normal marines vs a super fed dehaka on the other hand... not so much. Example of bio that can kill dehaka - mass nova marauders - each does 100+ on first attack and then sustained decently high damage, nova ghosts, each does 170 snipe damage, though you do need quite a few ghosts. Holo decoys, because holo decoys are op. Honestly just infinity raynor marauders might also do the trick. Maybe zagara's and stet's banelings with a large enough number, because banes op.

Goliath shines when enemies are using an air/ground mix. Multi-lock weapons means they have some of the highest effective DPS in Starcraft against mixed compositions. Even adjusting for cost and supply, they out-dps stimmed marines (if the air unit is armored, at least- marines slightly outpace them when the enemy air is all light units).

Easiest 5/5 of my life incoming despite not knowing much about any of these units primal guardians probably have high enough base armor to win this marauder commandos are kind of cracked if I remember correctly from previous videos I almost always bet on heroes This is kind of a meta call but goliaths have been winning a lot so I think it's time for an L I assume Kaldalis is another hero, so I'm betting on them I'm ready for my 0/5

Kaldalis is, in co-op lore, a Legionnaire (one of two Purifier zealot variants, the other being the Sentinel) outfitted with an AI based on a warrior named Kaldalis (the one-eyed zealot shown in the Legacy of the Void cinematic opening). He is one of Fenix's six champions, but despite the uniqueness of the champions, is not, in fact, a heroic unit. All champions have a bonus ability that the base unit does not have. In co-op proper, if Kaldalis dies, he "takes over" the body of a nearby Legionnaire and continues fighting. This affects two of the abilities common to all champions: Tactical Data Web (powers up champions based on the number of other Legionnaires a player has in their army, up to a maximum of 20 supply) and Avenging Protocol (champions are buffed temporarily when they die and take over a new body). Two of Fenix's prestiges actually focus on champions specifically. P2 is a prestige that powers up the unique abilities of champions based on TDW, allowing a P2 Kaldalis to have a cleaving attack that deals hundreds of damage per swing. (For comparison, 1 Kaldalis can beat 2 brutalisks attacking him at the same time) P3 is a prestige that makes champions weaker, because you want your champions to die repeatedly due to massive buffs to Avenging Protocol; this allows a P3 Kaldalis to have a theoretical 700 DPS with attack speed mastery. (Kaldalis never reaches anywhere close to 700 DPS in practice; even at no mastery Kaldalis hits the limits of his attack animation, resulting in greatly reduced damage ouput). Because of this, P2 and P3 are sometimes known as the "Carbot zealot prestiges" - one for when Kaldalis is dealing massive damage, one for when Kaldalis is comically flailing away at enemies, both resembling a Carbot zealot.
