Corrupters best attribute is they are quite strong and adept as an air unit for the cost in a game, but that aspect was balanced here. I do think this really did come down do one had spellcasters the other one didn't, as well as the best damage dealers being slow moving in arrival.

@@UnsoberIdiot It's not about AOE. It's obviously scripted. Brood lords didn't attacks until mutas were finished. Zerg would win this composition any day, if even half a brain was used. It's scripted so that zerg are basically thrown into the grinder, without using any advantages they have.

*Reapers* v. Banelings - Guessed right on this one! Grenades go *bounce*. *Disruptors* v. Marine/Marauder - I guessed Disruptors because oh boy is it going to be hard for the bio to connect before getting purified. Happy that my protoss instincts came in clutch here! Thor v. *Muta/Brood Lord* - My first miscalculation. I thought that without hellbats, the Thors would get overwhelmed by broodlings. Guess I forgot to factor in their low damage, timed life, and the thors switching modes. *Zerg Fleet* v. Protoss Fleet - I’m a Protoss. We all know that Skytoss without storm and archons backing it up makes for a sad, sad story against corruptors and parasitic bomb. 3/4 - Goddamn do Thors bring the lightning!

Turns out the broodlings only deal 3 damage to Thors per attack, so it takes 134 attacks to bring down a single one. 😂

@@StuGames Wow, that’s insane! Armor in this game is not to be trifled with. Edit: 7 damage per attack - 4 armor = 3 damage / 0.57 cooldown = 5.26 DPS * 5 broodlings (?) = 26.25 DPS 400 life/26.25 DPS = ~15.23 seconds. So, assuming that a thor was being constantly attacked by 5 broodlings (this is highly unlikely, but whatever) it would take nearly fifteen seconds for the thor to die. That’s a lot of time, especially when you factor in additional limitations like the limited surface area and broodlings expiring.

Наконец то вышел новый fight club, именно с него начал смотреть твой канал и очень рад что эта рубрика продолжает выходить Сражения залипательные, только в таблице юнитов из-за тёмных цветов не видно количество оставшихся юнитов, так было в первых двух играх, а в 3 так вообще фиолетовый сливается с рамкой, что не очень приятно, так как хочется наблюдать за потерями и болеть за ту или иную сторону, было бы круто, если ты эту проблему пофиксишь P.S. в конце прям кайф когда мины коррапторов убили, а потом красиво на ядерках умерли, можно попробовать такую же тему с гостами и снацпшотами, или штормами, бейлингами, ну и так далее P.S.S. надеюсь видео такого формата продолжат выходить и дальше 😊

I actually thought the protoss air units would win because each corruptor fight 1 capital ship/void ray(since its 1000 vs 1000). And then I forgot parasitic bomb exists. Which dominates the unit that counters corruptors: void rays. Also I want to recommend unit heros too. You did so in the SC1 unit battle of Terran heros vs protoss heros a year ago.

Noice, I guessed all 4 fights correctly. Ranged vs non-ranged in large numbers & even grenades, easy win for the Reapers. AoE splash vs no micro, easy Disruptor guess. OP Thors (I play Zerg) vs equal supply of Broods, easy win for the Thors. Add on any number of Mutalisks that aren't magic boxing, Thors still win easily. Sky Zerg vs Skytoss normally Skytoss favored, but tonnes of supply in Phopenix & only 1 spellcaster (Mothership) vs a shit ton of spellcasters? Spellcasters > no spellcasters especially if units are going to clump in parasitic bombs.

The SCALE of the fights grew BIGGER, the entertainment at the ends became more fun, the widowmines at the last fight was hilarious. Note: What if you do a part 2 with the Thors when they make a move on the Brood Lords with Javelin Missile Launchers? Note 2: To be fair, the last fight is not fair enough, because Zergs has Vipers with Parasitic Bomb and it get them a win. On other hand Protoss has no AoE damage. Maybe round 2?

The Punisher Cannons are indeed much stronger against Broodlords even when they're stacked like this! Toss doesn't have a strong air-to-air AoE attack ever since black hole was removed, so I don't know how they could ever win a massive air battle unfortunately, and I already gave them a huge budget advantage! I'll do Zerg vs Terran air in the future though, we'll see how Ravens and Libs stack up against Vipers in terms of AoE.

It's funny that Lore-wise, a single Disruptor could actually kill all those marines and marauders. Their blasts are three kilometers in diameter in one of the books. Basically a Protoss Nuke.

@@AC-jt8wq It’s a Legacy of the Void Versus unit. Think of them as a cooldown based psi storm caster built from the Robo Bay, and their spell is fired out as a projectile. There’s two variants of the unit in Co-op.

the thor fight and the protoss vs zerg air fight went differently to what i thought. i thought the choke would ruin thors against brood lords, and i thought the protoss fleet was just flat out stronger. ah, also the reapers, but that one was because i forgot they had grenades
