Hey Mr. Puzzle, thanks for the review! Hats off to you in making it to the end AND all the way back again, because I completely agree that this is a very finicky design. Like you said it was one of my first and in a lot of ways it's difficult for difficulty's sake and doesn't do enough to justify its own complexity... Oh well! As with all my other puzzles this one's definitely due for a redesign and I'm excited to rediscover some of my favorite mechanics in this box through the lens of all the lessons I've learned through the years. I'm glad I was at least able to make you laugh (and groan) with the never-ending journey! Keep on puzzling! Oh and btw, the piece that wouldn't sit flat has another piece down below its cavity. Looks like you put it together correctly, but before inserting that piece you can use the handle of the little tool to create space for it to sit all the way down

When you got the Rainbow box coin I thought that it was a mini-version of the puzzle... Can you imagine if someone made a nested puzzle box like the nested dolls? That would be cool and perhaps even a bit funny! Okay, so for my vote for next puzzle you to do the other one that neither of us can pronounce and send the LOKI to the LPL, LOL

I just solved this one last night and WOW it's insane! - I was so happy to see you put up a video a puzzle I had JUST purchased online, so I knew I could do mine and then watch your video! - Also, that red part of the rainbow, the largest ring: You kinda yanked it out of the puzzle a little early! It's meant to need to go through a few more steps and rotate around the circle until it reaches a point where it slips out without any scraping or force. When you pulled it out, it was forced out between the edge of the circle and the infuriating inner slider. That inner slider's interaction with the white circle [or 'the maze tower of pain' as I called it during my solve] had to hit a point where the slider went more to the right, so the tip of the slider was hanging out of the box's outer edge, and then the red ring rotates rightward - I mean clockwise. Oh, and I ALSO, by random happenstance just purchased a copy of Visayas! I vote for that! I was flabbergasted when I started watching the video to find you had Visayas up for the vote. What are the chances I would just now buy copies of these puzzles, as you're putting out videos for them?! :D

Loki please! My problem with puzzles like the rainbow is that all the 3D printed parts seem flimsy and cheap, and I'm constantly at fear if any force used is correct or just causing damage.

I think this is an incredible puzzle, I'm not a big fan of 3D printed material, and I think that would put me off buying it. I've seen companies that take the 3D .stl file and machine it from alloys on a CNC machine. Id definitely consider buying a metal version.

Too many parts - could get lost or broken too easily and makes re-assembly way too difficult - not a fan even though it is a decent puzzle

Too many *plastic* parts. All that grating and scraping was making me cringe. And yeah, reassembling just looked obnoxious.

The “crunchiness” of 3D printed puzzles always worries me no matter how well they seem to be made. Does it feel like you’re about to break something in a way that a wood or metal doesn’t?

Im not aure you're completely done. If you look at the red and yellow arcs of the token at the end there is a small gap on the right, so unless the filament is broken, there still something else there.

Loki next. Just curious... do you replay the solution video in reverse to do the reassembly (or is that cheating) ?

He definitely didn't watch his own solve, because, if you watch the reassembly, you see he tried to put things back in a different order than he took them out (and had to backtrack because of it).

Well observed. I had to use a lot of back and forth during the reassembly because I put the parts back in the wrong order. Which is not possible.
