Buddhist philosophy has delved into addressing certain norms. The word "AGAM" has been used to help you be mindful, but it is not clear that the Buddha's philosophy is not "AGAMA." AGAMA is meant to be the practice of the same thing with acquiescence, without an assertive mind. In English, "AGAMA" translates to "religion," which means "re-lego," signifying the effect of tying up with conventional practice. Therefore, please refer to self-enlightenment in Buddhist philosophy. It seems the author is using the norms of Buddha as if they were his doctrine.
