Or even worse, situations where you guess where the shore is opposite yours, running out of bridges and getting screwed. edit: 5:00 I reckon a campaign would be pretty sick similar to clash of clans goblin bases. Imagine parodies of historic events getting harder and harder. Like the battle of 300 where it's like 5 vengir swordsman on mountains vs like 20 imperius archers and warriors lmao. 6:40 In civ 5 1v1's they mirror the map. So the only advantage you get is moving first.

I actually think that aquarion is on the right track to becoming a somewhat balanced tribe. Mainly due to the wetlands feature that could allow them to be playably on drylands. Right know they are still to weak on drylands and to strong on water maps though. A solution would be to nerf all the troops significantly but give them very strong bonusses on wetlands (more attack and defense or something). This way, they could be playable on all maptypes and would no longer relay as much on water as much but rather on their wetlands, that they spawn with and can spread while the oppent will focus on drying them.

You teach chess at a school or online? How does one become a chess teacher. University or just by winning competitions and get really good at the game?

I teach at a local chess club, currently not teaching online (yet). There aren't actually that many requirements to being a chess teacher. You just need to have a somewhat high rating (like ~1500 UFCF or FIDE) and undergo some brief training. It pays decently, though it's hard to find a lot of hours (which is part of the reason I've been able to do KZbin on the side as well)

Strategy board games are indeed nice(got a whole lot), though I doubt Lingueeni would be into them(finding a board game with just the right amount of luck is hard). Catan is cool, but it's less about thinking strategies and more about diplomacy. There are others deeper in the rabbit hole of board games that I would recommend giving a shot as they have a good luck balance(to make games dissimilar, but not dependant on a dice roll), but you really need to be into them to play.
