Gideon was facing an army of close to 3o,000 l of some enimy that were giving the Isrelites a bunch of grief.... God told him that the men he had to many, because with that many the Isralites would claim victory instead of giving God the praise,, so he told Gideon, to sent home any that were afraid to fight..... All that were left was 10;000. God said still to many, to take those that remain to drink from the river...... All those who drank directly from the river..... to sent hem Home-------------- that left 300.... ..... He gave each a container with a candle in it..... they surrounded the camp, screamed the battle cry, and the disoriented enemy ran.... I became less involved with You Tube When right after the 2016 election the Then CEO of the platform was videoed telling her employees, that they were going to try and make sure that never happened again...... that along with who and what they support put my fire out..... The praise from men is Temporary The Praise from GOD is ETERNAL !!!

You are right on all accounts and I appreciate your position on it. It's important to be realistic. I would never want to have to rely on this for my sole sustenance and it could go away in an instant. My discernment is where blessings are not of God, a moral compromise is required. As long as I don't have to compromise my morals, then I give God the glory for the blessings.
